I've spent the entire day with my twin! It's exactly like old times. I'm the happiest I've been in a while. I feel like myself again for the first time in months! I love it.

MY MEDIA FESTIVAL PROJECT IS GOING ON TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION!!!!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe it!!!!! I'm getting an award in front of the entire school and my parents say we might all go to the competition next fall to see my project and hear first-hand if it places or not.

For those of you who don't know... media festival = science fair for technology geeks only.

Anyone else in high school do media festival?

I seriously doubt it, but wouldn't it be cool if someone else from BB was competing this year and also made it to international? I would so want to meet them.

My mom felt guilty for lying to me...so we're watching OMWF

UPDATE: My mother and her husband liked OMWF... and along with The Body (which I showed them a couple months ago) they say they've seen enough to be sufficently interested to watch from the beginning. So in the next few days, I'll be dropping hints that the entire series is on netflix, which they now have access to on my mother's computer... and hopefully soon we'll start the series.

It isn't really a spoiler. I don't know how to do the tag things anyway.
My pony is home 😀 I was to unwell to look after her for close on a year but now I think I am able to care for her again so I've brought her home. Its so nice to know she is just out the front door. I can have Phoebe cuddles whenever I want!
 
Spent the day with my mum, and she bought me lunch which doesn't happen very often. Now I'm making cakes
 
It's the simple, seemingly trivial things that make ya smile.

Having had a rough night at work, I got home and sat down at the kitchen table for a few minutes. My 7 month old kitten, Sassy (nicknamed Midgett) got up on the table, looked right in my face and went "Meeeeeewww?? ?? ??" As if asking if I was okay.

Gotta love pets.

My baby has finally learned to say mum or mummy when he wants me!!! I love it. 🙂 oh, and the batteries in his most obnoxious talking book have died. Win!

look what i just found while editing some pictures i shot during the easter holidays back home with my family.

it made me laugh because i remembered the conversation about it.
i was working in the garden with my parents, cleaning the place up for the family BBQ next day:

mom: "what should we do with the broken handle?"
dad: "we will burn it tomorrow"
ME: "No! we can use it for vampires"
- parents staring at me...


what do you think? that handle would make an excellent stake wouldn't it?

I finally found an ankh necklace that I liked, I've been looking for years and have never found one until now
 
yesterday was an awesome day! Nick is such a sweetheart. 🙂 Even gave me an extra autograph for my friend that couldn't make it.

Going out with my boys for the first time in ages last night. It's been way too long considering how much we used to hang out a few years ago 🙂 But ah, times changes and it was lovely to see the old gang again 😀
