^yeah, like you meditate! and i betcha cry too...you cried when Bambi's mom died, didn't you?
personally, i'd say both, depending on the situation. usually, i tend to cry, and then someone will say something really stupid and i'll just start laughing hysterically. some of my friends find this very strange and off-putting, but i can't help it, it's just how i deal with things.
laughter definitely helps diffuse the situation, clear my head and help me think a little better.
Cocaine, ecstacy...the usual.
Well that numbs the soul, but same diff.
I had a friend years ago who would laugh whenever he heard bad news. Just an involuntary reaction. He was in hysterics when his mother told him his grandfather had died.
i did exactly that. the day after my grandad's funeral, my best friends came to stay with me, just to be there for me. i told them something that had happened during the service which we all found really funny, and we, my whole family, we were laughing. they thought it was awful that we were laughing during the service, and looking back, i regret that i told them, but it's just the way me and most of my family deal with things.
...you cried when Bambi's mom died, didn't you?
A good nap is almost as cleansing as a good laugh.
