What Type Of Music Do You Like?

My list of artists goes on forever, so I'll just say that I like the music before my generation.
So basically anything pre 2000's, the 60's, 70's, 80's had Hendrix, the Beatles, Zeppelin, Smiths, GnR and Rush etc great bands. Having said that, there are some great bands and artists now as well. I just like to live in the past, so much more exotic than any faraway land.
Not so mainstream music that i listen to are Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, Manchester Orchestra and Birds of Tokyo. alot of my musicality has been influenced by these artists.
Basically, chuck in a guitar, bass, drums and a decent tune and i'll like it, however i'm not so narrow minded that i simply brush aside anything thats not rock related
