I'm re-watching Nightmares and now I'm curious about a couple things.
First the Master says that we are ruled by fear. Not love or hate but by what we fear. I'm assuming he thinks this because fear is instinctual. We have almost no control over what causes the gut reaction of fear. So do guys really think that what we fear really says something about us as people?
And what would your nightmares be, if they randomly started coming true in the middle of the day? And what would that say about you?
My nightmares usually consist of car accidents. And people I care about getting killed. And those are two things that I'm really afraid of. I wouldn't want to go out in a fiery crash of doom and I also don't want anything to happen to the people I care about.
Dunno what the car crash thing says about me. Most people are afraid of dying in horrible ways. But my other biggest fear, I guess does say that I'm a pretty compassionate person. Which is true. Just thought it was interesting.
