What do you mean similar? Like the writing is similiar? Hehe. Right. I've seen that the third book to the series is coming soon. I may have to take a little break in between and read another book because a new book is coming out and I have yet to read the book before it. The Wicked Lovely series. I still have yet to read Radiant Shadows when Darkest Mercy comes out towards the end of next month. So I'll read radiant shadows and then request Torment from the library. Since I work at the library, I just request books.😀
I love the Vampire Academy. I have yet to read Last Sacrifice though. I use to like Twilight a lot. Just feel burnt out by it now.
I like a little break from YA vampire books.😀
Thank you!
yeah, similar as in similar writing. and theme. meaning you could put the two books together as one and you wouldn't be able to tell...which i guess makes sense lol maybe i'm just saying this cos it was a little big more of a drag to get through those two books that it was to get through twilight and VA for me. i've read last sacrifice. great ending to the series i thought 🙂 i was happy with it. (as for twilight, i can see where you're coming from with all the hype around the movies and what not. i myself will see each movie exactly once to analyse just how horribly they've adapted the book this time and then suppress all memories of it 🙂 it works for me)
i know what you're saying about getting a break from vampire books lol i've read sooo many. (or if not vampire then at least supernatural ones). don't bother reading the strange angels series (dru anderson). they're such a bore. my god.
i loved the wicca series (i think it's called Sweep series in america though) by cate tiernan. it's got a lot of parts though but i was obsessed with it.
now i'm gonna start reading emma by jane austen (speaking of taking a break 😉 ) while waiting for guilty pleasures by laurell k. hamilton (figured i'd give it a go, if it's not good i can stop after book 1)
