Question What's Your Favourite Season 1 Episode?

That's a really, really tough choice! I was tempted to pick "The Target", so far one of my favourite arcs in the series has definitely been Boyd/Echo. But I ended up choosing "Briar Rose".

  • Starts off with Echo as (for the most part) a regular girl, which was nice. It was nice that in her last engagement of Season 1 she gets the chance to help out the little girl. That mission itself I thought was quite intruiging.
  • Great acting on Enver's part (or Victor, in case I spelt that wrong!), when he took on Domnic's personality I thought he was spot on! I think we can expect great things from that guy
  • Love Tudyk's introduction in the "fake" Stephen Keple scenes. The apartment scene was probably one of my favourites (most comedic, for sure) from the entire series! The whole "Mother Nature's gunna have a People Day!" thing was really funny, in a smart way.
  • The fight scene between Ballard and Boyd was pretty cool, I liked that Echo got in on it a little too.
  • "OH MY GOD!!! HE'S ALPHA!!!"-- need I say more? That moment totally blew my mind and is the scene that really made me fall in love with the show. It definitely restored my faith in the awesomeness that is Joss Whedon 😀
 
i really like briar rose because it shows that the dollhouse can do some good and that it can really help people.
 
It's really a tough choice. I think the reason for this is that there haven't been like any real bad episodes, but we don't have tons of seasons with really outstanding episodes yet either.

My favourite was Echoes. It just had good stuff going on. All the Adelle & Topher scenes were just so hilarious!

Also a good episode, Needs. I can't really pin down why, but that was really one of the first episodes where I felt the Whedon spirit.
 
I rewatched the season quite some time ago and as I thought I'd liked the episodes even more that time. My favourite from season 1 is still Briar rose though. Alans performance just do it for me. Completely loving it.
 
Such a tough choice, but I eventually went with Epitaph One. I almost voted for Spy in the House of Love because Adelle is my favorite character and I'm a huge Dominic/Adelle shipper so I never get tired of this episode. But, EO was just brilliant and shocking.
 
I've only watched Dollhouse through twice, and it was about my 15th time watching through Buffy (No exaggeration there...Okay, maybe a small one.) that I finally decided on my favourite episode, so trying to decide isn't the easiest thing. But, I went for Stage Fright. I know it's kind of a random episode choice, but I thought it was one of the more interesting episodes...Or maybe it was just because we got to hear Eliza sing (If that was actually her voice. Anyone have any word on that?) 😉
