When did you know that Cordie became evil?

It was created in September and there have been no comments until now, so I don't see the problem.

Cordelia was never evil. All of her dark acts were courtesy of Jasmine's possession or influence.

All we ask is that a thread title provides an indication of what the thread is discussing and in this case it does. Taken from the BB FAQ:

Create threads with clear titles that describes the topic of the thread (that means no titles like 'Guess what!'). When posting, please keep to the topic of the thread as much as possible. Threads that stray too far from the topic will be closed.

It relates to Cordelia and the actions that took place. The discussion as to whether it as actually evil or what you described above can still take place. You have to respect other members opinions on matters even if you do not agree with it. But there is no need for the thread title to be changed, as both yourself and fellow members can hash out opinions and theories. If the thread title was completely unrelated then it would be a different matter. Therefore I see no need for the thread title to be changed. If you want to take this further then please pm me but for now the thread title stays as it is.

All I was doing was pointing out that the topic's thread was misleading. Never mind.

she was never really evil but i new there something not right about her in that episode with willow and faith and when they restore angel's soul and cordy is all with the magic and what not

there was the whole eyes of a demon opening up at the end of spin the bottle. That was a slight giveaway....

This is exactly where I got the picture. "We have got a problem" I thought. She didn't act friendly and I didn't buy the 'I have a memory lost' crap either. Buffy didn't lose her memory when she returned, why would Cordelia? And it was a year before Cordelia's return.

I knew that something big and bad was going on when she slept with Connor. The real Cordy would never do that and would have went back to the Hyperion right when she got her memory back.

I didn't find out until she stabbed Lilah in the neck but I always knew there was something wrong with her.She was acting weird ever since she had gotten her memory back. She was doing things that were way out of character.Sleeping with Connor of course and what really struck me as unCordelialike was in the episode Habeus Corpses when sha says Connor is a sweety pie.I think that was way out of character. The episode after that when Manny gets killed, she is being really defensive and pointing out suspects all over the place.Off topic but is it just me or does the Cordy in Angel's fantasy act more like the real Cordy. In the fantasy she's kinda real whereas in real life when she was evil, she was just monotonous.

I hated how they turned Cordy evil. I didn't realize she was evil until she stabbed what's her name in the neck. :winking03

I found out here I think....poop. I hate spoilers but I can't stay away. Then when she killed Lilah.

I am not sure when I realised if you watch season 4 there is clues, the way that cordy lays the foundation with Connor, But in Apocalypse Nowish, she has this dream where she is strangled by the beast, and she wakes up scared, If she was JASMINE she would not have had the dream, any one any ideas?

I always wondered the exact same thing. Why would she have dreams and visions of The Beast? And then tell everyone about them.Maybe those were sent by the PTBs for the real Cordy but Jasmine just used them to her advantage.

I have another question. Was Evil Cordy half demon or was she human.Because in the episode Long Day's Journey Cordy says "Wouldn't it make more sense to split up?One super power per shift? That way if horn boy shows up we mere mortals might stand a chance."She does have super powers:The glowy thing!!What did she just forget or something. Also in Orpheus she is able to attack Connor several times without the santuary spell kicking in.My theory is that maybe the demoness that Cordy had in season 3 probably left her when she came back from the higher plane so that it can all be concentrated into her baby which is Jasmine.

And also, isn't it convenient that amnesia Cordy didn't have any visions?I'm sorry I rambled but I can talk about this topic all day 😀

I think that's because Cordelia was there too. Possession does take place with "the possessed" in picture; vampirism is also a possession; "the possessed" does not go away, his or her memories stay as well as his or her ambitions, it is just that he or she is not purely him or her, there is an addition. In Cordelia's case, she was possessed by Jasmine thus she was there too, it was her with an addition.

I knew before watching the season, because at the time I was watching TNT reruns for the first time and became incredibly addicted and couldn't stay way from episode guides.

However, my mouth still [practically] dropped when Cordy stabbed Lilah in the neck and called her a stupid bitch. That was one of those WTF?! moments, haha.

Uhm, I don't think so. Skip said that Cordelia wasn't in charge and that Jasmine was in every cell of her body. Jasmine had her memories and used them to manipulate Angel and AI but the real Cordy had no influence on what happened.

The common consensus on that question is that Jasmine is awakened in Spin The Bottle and takes over completely from there. The visions of the beasts are mainly for the viewer. Jasmine pretends to be confused and afraid of them in order to manipulate Connor and Angel. The same goes for the side glances we see, we as the viewers are manipulated as AI were.

As for the original question. I already though something was wrong in Apocalypse Nowish: Cordy would never leave Angel when she thought the world was in peril. I didn't buy the *I saw you as Angelus* speech. Cordy knew what Angel was, she had encounters with Angelus and she always proved capable of leaving that behind. When she slept with Connor I was relatively sure there was more going on, I knew Cordy would never ever do something like that. But I wasn't sure until Calvary, there was always the possibility of simple bad and stupid writing lol.

I dont exactly remember when I realized that Cordy was evil... I knew there was something wrong with her from the beginning of season 4 but i didnt know what...
But I hated evil Cordy...

I am confused witht the evil Cordy thing because for one if she was evil how come we never got any hint of it when she was in a higher plane? To add to it she helped Angel when he was in Danger in The House Always Wins! So i guess i became suspicious when she refused to share her vision with Angel of the beast. My suspicions were proved when she was speaking through a coloured stone to control Angelus.

I realized she was evil after she kept using Connor. I read somewhere that when they did the spell to awaken Cordys memory they awakened the Beast.

That's because when Cordy is in the higher realms Cordy is still herself. Jasmine used her up there to creep into her every cell and went dormant until she was awaken by the spell in Spin The Bottle.

I already knew she was going to be evil but When I really realized was when she opened Angelus cage, Cordelia wouldn't have done that ever, I just thought she can't be that stupid, which is what she says at the end of the episode.
And I didn't knew that Angelus was still there but I wouldn't have opened the cage just in case.
