Where do you live?

I'm from North Carolina. I'm somewhere between Fayetteville and Wilmington. (The two closest major cities to me) I live in the country area and it's just not for me. Not a huge fan of the majority of the people near me, I hate the weather, the wildlife. (ie: snakes. I freakin hate snakes.)

I will say that there are some nice places in NC (such as the mountains, love the NC mountains) but overall, I hate living here. After doing a good amount of travelling around the east coast during childhood and even more travelling recently, I've found myself to be much more of a city girl. None of the cities in NC appeal to me though, so I'd like to move further north. Just trying to figure out where to go at the moment. 🙂

Waves to another NC person! I lived in an area around Fayetteville when I was younger.

I read that as "Fattyville" and laughed :p
Okay, first of all, I'm jealous of where everyone else lives. 😀

I'm from San Diego, California. I live in a suburb-y area where everything is made up of brand new cookie cutter neighborhoods and shopping plazas. I live about five-ten minutes away from the beach, but I don't go very often. You can't really go anywhere in SD without a car, since our public transport is almost non-existent. I can't imagine growing up anywhere else, but I'm definitely ready for different things.

I live in Baltimore, Maryland. There aren't too many things to praise about it. There is a whole lot of crime and drug use... It has the nickname Charm City. I had no idea Charm City was Baltimore until they named a bus, and a race, and a lot of stuff after it. It's not very charming.

Well, we have a nice aquarium. We're home to Johns Hopkins and MICA, and Joe Flacco is a pretty nice quarterback....

That all said, Most of my friends want to leave Baltimore.

PSSSSHHHH! WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT?? Baltimore Maryland is awesome, we are close to the ocean and the harbor. We also have the best crabs in the world. Nummy nummy.

pfft. The harbor, rife with garbage, home of the dirtiest water ever known to harbors nationwide.

And they ruin perfectly good crabs with Old bay! XP

Oooooooooklahoma where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain....

And that was specifically for Scobro, because randiann tells me he loooooves that song!

Ahem, unlike Randi I live in the heart of the city, Tulsa to be specific, about 2 hours down the Turnpike from her. I was raised outside of Chicago though. I'm definitely a city girl! My husband is from Boston, how we both got here is a looong story.

On the outskirts of a smallish county seat town on the German side of the German/Dutch border (Nether Rhine Region of North-Rhine Westphalia). Been living all my life within 15 kilometers of where I am now.

Mordor... ain't gonna lie... the weather kind of sucks, there's always something burning and you haven't seen anything until you try to tell some boisterous Orcs to keep it down...

Nah, seriously though 🙂
I live in Stockholm, Sweden and I love my city. My surroundings are beautiful, I'm close to the archipelago and though I'm not a fan of winter (and it does snow here... a lot) wherever I go and whatever I do in life I'll probably always want to come back here.

I live in Orlando, Florida have all my life and well I don't hate it but I don't love it.

One of the things I hate is Wal-Mart it is one of the most annoying stores to go to here although they have some good deals. I like what there is to do for free like just going around town. Some of the people are fun and you can have some good times. @ Konoe would know.

I live in Westchester County, New York. I like that it's pretty close to the city and there are a lot of aesthetically pleasing things to see here (both man made and natural.) I don't like that there isn't much to do around here, and I don't like that it gets really humid sometimes in the summer, and there are a lot of hills so when it snows in the winter it's a bid tough/scary getting around. Plus I live near a lake (which is great!) but in the summer there are a lot of mosquitos around.

You write a lot about your cities, so I'll write more about mine.
Szczecin has like 400,000 people around. We've got a lot of shopping centres, nice landmarks. And the biggest cemetry in Europe, haha! There's a lof of parks and three lakes near city centre.

I've got an idea. Maybe we could post photos of our places? Because you write awesome stuff about them but I really want to see them too!
