Where My Guitarists At?

I am a terrible player. I havent played in a while.was obsessed as a teen but never had the sticktoitiveness.. Prolly bc my first guitar had painfully high action. By the time i got a decent guitar, life had moved me on. Maybe one day. Used to be able to play the intro to "dust in the wind" and strum pretty much every eagles song (badly). I can sing. I know (or used to know) tons of chords but never got past reading the songs in those giant chord books. Used tab a bit but only near the end of my music adventures. I learned back in the late 70s then stopped and started for years. Still have my guitars... And the music books.

ahhh. I remember my dad playing for me and trying to teach me, but life happened, and decades later I picked it up, but I admit life has again made practice a bit harder. I'm not really much farther along than when I started lol, but I can kind of read sheet music now, and I can read tablature and chords. Told my husband I'm thinking of in home lessons and he liked that idea - he knows a little more than I do but not terribly much lol
