Which couple dominates the board?

I honestly think a lot of Bangels just don't want to fight about it anymore.

I agree with this because I’m completely like that. I mean, theses discussions Bangel vs Spuffy are repetitive, quite boring and quite useless because be honest no one change the mind of no one. I’m tired of this debates and I just avoid it now

I may be Spuffy, but I didn't come here to shout it from the rooftops (no offense to those that proudly do so). I'm here to discuss all things Buffyverse, so I can totally see where some of ya'll are coming from. It just makes me very tired.

I’d say it depends on which shippers are busy living their lives and which have a bit more time on their hands.

In my case, it's directly proportional to the amount of work I have to do multiplied by the square root of the amount of time I have to do it.

As most of you know, I am not a Spufling or a Bangelite. I'm really not a fan of either ship so I think I can say I'm reasonably neutral on this topic.
Now I joined these Boards at the start of this year & at that time both shipyards were rather quiet. But, I have noticed that by far the majority of new joiners over the last few months have their feet firmly in the Spuffy camp.......

Although the Spuffy Vs Bangel sparring has peaked in the last few weeks a day away from the Boards will normally give you an answer to who currently has the most 'voice' of the two ships.
I signed in the other day & there were 4 pages of new posts to look at.......of those there were more than 10 that had 'Spuffy' or 'Spike' in the thread title (and two more were about Spuffy fanfic). This compares to just two with 'Bangel' & one with 'Angel' in the thread title (they also had two Fanfic ones so all equal there).

Now I know that isn't exactly scientific.....but that's the impression I get as a neutral.....There are either a lot more Spufflings than Bangelites.....or they just shout louder!
Either way Spuffy is by far the more dominant in terms of sheer numbers of posts/threads at the moment......

Funnily enough, no one seems to talk about the greatest ship of all................

When I joined the "Close Your Eyes" section was virtually dead

A lot of old threads have recently been removed from both Fanclubs. Therefore I unfortunately cannot prove my knowledge. But before the old threads were removed, there were almost as many threads and messages in the Bangel Fanclub as in the Spuffy Fanclub. There maybe was slightly more activity in the Spuffy section, but it was like 90:98 and not like 9:900. And the reason that there is so much activity just now, is, that we have one single new and very enthusiastic member, who happens to be a Spuffy. One swallow doesn`t make a summer. I do get the feeling that this board is more Bangel-y than Spuffy-dominated. I guess it is just a question of selective perception 🙂 . But in the end, it does not even signify. Wouldn`t you still love Bangel, even if no one else on this planet did ?

I'm a large reason that the Spuffy fandom stays active!

Haha I actually prefer Buffy slightly more then I do Spike!
But I'm enjoying a lot more then just Spuffy on these boards!
I think every single character, episode, scenario is amazing!
+ I'm watch Firefly & Dollhouse for the first time!!! Yay!

I know! That's what makes you such a great fan... you love everything.
Except Bangel. Maybe if you loved Bangel it could dominate the board.

Maybe for halloween you could go as a bangel fan and make all posts that day as a bangel.

I actually do like Bangel! & I was actually a Bangel shipper in S1 and S2! But after that I fell out of love with them!
They're fine but I love Spuffy more!
