Which is your favorite divison of Buffy?

The High School Years (Seasons 1-3)
The College Years (Seasons 4-5)
The Post-Resurrection Years (Seasons 6-7)
 
High School (1-3)

Best story, most enjoyable version of the characters, even the best sets. I am 100% seasons 1-3 girl. 😀

Have to agree with Kean, loved Sunnydale High School as the setting and the characters were at their best in the first 3 seasons.
 
I pick 1-3. Fave characters, fave stories, the school was awesome, the darker Gothic tone of the show and the music is what I love 🙂

Though I only choose 1-3 because of seasons 2 and 3 which I find are the highlight of the show. I would pick 2, 3 and 6 if I could. I love season 1 also though.

I feel so unoriginal: Sunnydale High between season 1 and 3 is the best!

The campus of season 4 comes close, but we don't see it enough 🙁
 
I have to say I divide it into two groups, High School and No High School. And I prefer No High School, because all of my favorite episodes except for one (Witch) are there, and also because character develoupment seems to be deeper... we see that Buffy isn't always a blonde with a calling, and Willow isn't a total nerd, and Xander isn't dumb all the time, and Giles isn't a funsucker (HELLO SOMBRERO!). The effects are better as the show goes on, the romance changes into something more intense... oh, and there's always the
beautiful point of No Angel.

In your divisions, I would say the college years are likely my favorite... as much as I love Season 6 I hate Season 7... but though I adore Season 4, I have no gripe with 5. So College years win.

High school years. Loved the stories, characters and the show was at it's funniest. And my biggest reason for loving the high school years...no awful Dawn
 
The Post-Resurrection Years (Seasons 6-7) although I adore season 5 too. I love everything about season 6. I really do... I adore season 6. And I love the Buffy we saw in season 7. The responsible leader. The woman I've always wanted to be. The woman I feel I'm becoming. I like those two seasons best because I relate best to Buffy in those seasons. In the early seasons... I just don't relate to her as much. In seasons 6 and 7 though, combine her with Spike and that's me. And a little of season 5... but mainly 6 and 7.
 
I genuinely like every single season, but I love the Scoobies outside of high school. I love them in high school too, don't get me wrong, but I think it's fun watching them flounder around in college and growing up post-Sunnydale High. Hm. Out of the divisions in the OP, I'd say...Season 4-5. Followed very very closely by Seasons 6-7, which in turn is also followed very very closely by Seasons 1-3.

College years karma!
I like the high school years for the nostalgic warm and fuzziness of it all, but I love the darker tone set in S5 and after, so I can't really decide.
 
I am torn because I like the last two seasons even though season six can be depressing. Overall story wise though I am going to go with season 1-3 they were just amazing and didn't miss a beat.
 
This is too tough! I like the highschool years ALOT, but I REALLY love season 5&6, but not so much 4&7
So i guess i have to say The dark years (5-6) 😀
 
I like High School and College Years pretty equally TBH. And after a recent re-watch, I'm not all that fond of the Post-Resurrection Years at all anymore. I actually wish the show would have ended when the run with WB was over.

To answer the question though, HS slightly wins out over College.
 
This was a tough one, but I had to go with... The High School Years (Seasons 1-3)

Season 4 and 5 are greaaaat, don't get me wrong... But the first seasons just take the cake because of the Scoobies relationships and the awesomeness that is Angelus and The Mayor as big bads! That and... It was high school for freak's sake! 😎

The Mayor, Spike, Angelus, Faith they all made me pick high school years as well.
High school years, though the College years come on a really close second place!
