Which Food Do You Dislike, Yet You Find All Your Friends Liking It?

Seafood

Olives
Celery
Swede
Parsnips
Nougat
Pineapple (although I did have some by accident recently and I did like it!)

Love lemon, love meringue, put them together and they turn my stomach. Don't know why (Other than that I am a human dustbin and will eat anything 🙂)

I never knew that they can be put together! I've gotta try it some day.😀

@vellavu I have no idea what lotus root or pomelu are, so I might not like them either 🙂

Lotus root is something that tastes silky (literally silk-y, having a lot of silk in it) when eaten raw and mushy when cooked.

Pomelo is something that's larger than a grapefruit but is less sour and more bitter.

Both are eeeeew to me.

Priceless

They both sound horrid. I shall be avoiding them in future, though I don't think they are popular where I am
Oh.... worst offender....

Liquorice!

*cries softly*

We're really very tasty.

That I find funny as I used to say that I did not like kiwi on account of a bad experience I had while eating one until I got chastised one day that a kiwi is a person a kiwi fruit is what I didnt like eating.

But a Swede isn't a 'swede vegetable'. It's still just a swede. 😉

I've never eaten a swede. I've eaten rutabaga before though.

Ha! Even I know they're the same thing! I think you can also call them turnips, because they're all members of the same family, but we've always called them swede and I've always hated eating them, since I was a little kid.

I can call them turnips? I do call them turnips. I think thats the difference between US and UK. You have queer names for food things over there. I don't know why you cant just call things the same thing we do. Why you have to go and be all different.
