For me, it's Willow. I don't really know how to put this, except sometimes I just am Willow, and not just the high school years.
I am Willow because I was the geeky little girl who had no fashion sense and no confidence, only brains. I had friends but they were equally geeky and goofy. I met a new friend who helped me become more confident.
I am Willow because I make up funny words and dress like a total girl. I babble sometimes. I rely on my friends to keep me from going back to my geeky self. I know I have some crazy talent, but sometimes I still feel worthless. Sometimes I'm a little slow, but sometimes I'm faster than anyone else.
I am Willow because I was a little shocked the first couple times I suspected I was gay. But then I fell into it. It felt natural, because it was natural to me. I learned to stand on my two feet even when I didn't have my friends, even if I would have done it better with them.
I am Willow because even though in part I'm still a little girl, I hate it when people treat me as such. I know I can handle things. Sometimes I want to abuse my talents... sometimes I do. But with help, I always come back to the right side.
I am Willow because I love my friends more than anything and would do anything for them, even if it scares me. I am really so much like her, that I spent a fair amount of time laughing at things she said, not just because they were funny, but because I said something incredibly similar before.
I am just her so much, it's crazy.
