Who is your favourite potential/s slayer?

My favorite SIT was Amanda. Although I must be honest that I liked both Kennedy and Rona, as well.

I like Kennedy, because she was truly kick-ass!

I like Rona, because she was honest about how she felt being dragged into becoming a Potential/Slayer. Most people would have supressed their feelings and allowed Buffy to run through them. Also, I admire her for going into the final battle with a cast on her arm.

I don't know why, but I HATED Kennedy! I guess I still prefer Tara with Willow...must feel like the Oz lovers in season four..but...meh

Kennedy got on my nerves. She sorta, over acted things...a bit too dramatic...but a perfect slayer, yes. Rona was whiney...but I liked her.

I liked kennedy, perhaps because the character was more developed, i dopn;t know perhaps because she made willow smile again. I liked the fact she was open about her wealth and being a brat and she knew how to learn her lessons. She was one of the ones who wasn't raw when she got there, and she was a scared little cry baby either. She deserved to be a slayer and I saw a similar fire in her as I did in faith. Especailly once she became a slayer.

I couldn't really care either way about Kennedy, neither liked her nor hated her, but I do agree that she would have been the best slayer. No nonsense, no fear, get the job done, money to buy the best wardrobe...

But I soooo couldn't stand Amanda and Rona! Amanda with her stupid horsey face and neighing voice and Rona complaining at every opportunity. To question something if you're not sure is not a bad thing but all Rona ever did was question Buffy. I've watched season 7 twice now on DVD and whenever I see Rona arrive at the bus depot I so wish Buffy wouldn't save her. She should have said "I've been the slayer for 7 years now, you think you know better than me then why don't you take these guys out. There only pitiful little bringers anyway and I've faced much bigger bads than them. If you don't think you can take them then shut the hell up and get with the program and you might actually learn something. Moron!"

My favourite Slayer Hopeful In Training would have to be Molly. She was unsure like the rest but at least gave everything a shot and treated Buffy with the respect she deserved. And she was the hottest of them all. :wigglinge Hey I'm a guy, I can use that criteria to judge women if I want.

i watched dirty girls again last night, and yeah molly was kewl, she'd be my second fav. of them I just think kennedy was the best, she had a faithesque quality. anyway i was sad to see molly go even if i do think it was a little bit her own fault.

I liked Kennedy the best because she was tough but nice at the same time. She was great for Willow.

I found Willow and Tara a little forced sometimes. Which is why I'm glad that Whedon had decided to pair Willow with someone who was a personality opposite. There is nothing more boring than a relationship with two introverts.

I loved to hate Kennedy, I still do actually. She pisses me off so much, because she seems to have all of Buffy's and Faith's bad qualities. Again, love hating her, lot of respect for the character.

Favorite though was Vi, I think it was alot of months back that N4H (I think that's who it was) pointed out the growth she had gone through, even though she was one of the less featured SITs.

Least favorite- Chloe

Honorable Mention- Andrew (Not really a potential, but he was going through the same thing they were, sort of being new to the world of slayage or at least on the right side of it. Plus, favorite character, so I had to have him on here somewhere.)

To question something if you're not sure is not a bad thing but all Rona ever did was question Buffy.

What's wrong with that? Buffy did the same with both the Initiative (Maggie Walsh) and the Watcher's Council.

Very true. But I feel that Buffy's questioning is inspired by either wanting more information, because she feels that she can perform her role as slayer better if she knows all the facts, or because she is dubious about the motives behind the instructions being given her. Pure motives in other words.

It's not too much of a stretch to say that Rona felt she was in the same situation but it just seems to me like she is more complaining than questioning because she just doesn't want to play the game by the rules she's hearing. Just my opinion of course.

I personally didnt like any of them... most of all Kennedy!! She just came across as a spoiled brat... her attitude of "give it to me or I will just beat you up and take it anyway" made her in my opinion the least "potential" slayer.

I think that you're giving Buffy a benefit of the doubt, because she's the main character. Buffy was no better than Rona in regard to her complaints. Rona had as much to complain about as Buffy. And at least she gave Buffy a chance to prove herself. She didn't start complaining until after she and the other Potentials had found out about Spike's trigger from the First - something Buffy and the Scoobies had failed to mention. And after the debacle of "Dirty Girls", Rona really had a reason to complain.

Granted, Buffy had a reason to be suspicious of the Watcher's Council after "Helpless", but her constant complaints got on Giles' nerves. And she made Wesley's life miserable from the moment they had first met.

So why should Buffy's complaints be condoned and not Rona's?

Cordelia, are you a moderator?

i liked amanda, she was the sweetest, and kinda reminded me of myself.
I hate kennedy with a passion, she urgh, just got on my nerves, we could habe donw without her, i also didnt really buy into the kennedy/willow relationship, it all seemed a bit too soon for me.

i can't remember the girls name but i liked the girl that commited suicide, she had really nie hair lol- but i also liked the girl the first was posing as (i think her name was annabel???) she had a really cool accent

I love Amanda and Chloe... they are both the least annoying and they had awesome personalities but no way they could take over faith or buffs position as slayer they both rock too much!

Amanda. she came in fighting(remember why she was sent to see Buffy).
She followed orders, trained hard, proved why she had been chosen as a potential by actually killing a Vampire before ANY training.
She gelled with the people alot better....i just think she was the best, funniest and least irritating of the potentials.
Infact i was annoyed by her death, if any Potential/Slayer deserved the opportunity yo survive it was her.

gotta agree with Al...Amanda was the least annoying. i actually liked her a lot, she was sweet and folowed Buffy without question...until they all kicked her out, but Amanda wasn't one of those who actually did the kicking
i hated it when she died.
if one of those well known potentials had to die, i wanted it to be Rona...she just bugged me so much!!
