I voted for noone because as ive said before...why do people think that you need a partner maybe Buffy will be happiest by herself or maybe with Willow.

I don't believe in soulmates or romantic ideals. I think it's a load of crap. Although I am a Spuffy, I really don't see Buffy ending up with anyone, at this point. I think she was right to make the decision to abstain from a relationship. She needs to stop believing that she needs romance to have a fulfilling life, and learn to find out who she really is. Maybe somewhere along the road, she will find someone. Then again, maybe not. It won't be a tragedy, if she remains single.

I voted for Spike because i think that their love grew so much in the years that is just SO fair they two end up together one day! And Spike loves her so much, I can't imagine her with somebody else. 🙂

eek its a draw between spike and angel!
i voted ANGEL btw they are soulmates and even thought they arnt together they still have a connection which was shown in chosen. theyd been apart for so long and yet they could still talk the way they always had as if nothings changed.

Spike? He knew perfectly well what he was doing when he tried to rape Buffy.
Spike has never loved Buffy for Buffy's sake. He loved Buffy because he wanted her. Even when she fought off her advances, he didn't care. That's Spike for you, a fool for love.
Angel? He loved Buffy enough to understand that he can never give her what she desires; a normal life, that to continue the relationship will do her no good. Its not like he wanted to leave. he loved her as well, but he knew he had to leave.
I'll agree, Spike loves Buffy more, but Angel and Buffy's love was stronger, and was based more on love than physical attraction.

i'd hafta say faith. there was def. subtext even to oblivious lil me. (meaning i usually hafta get clobbered over the head with ten foot giants absurdly heavy lead spiked club to get anything. aights so a tad bit of exageration but ya get the point right?)

Called on it at the Bronze, she admits "I am going out with somebody tonight, as a matter of fact." Cue Faith, who pauses only for a "Yo, what's up? Time to motorvate" before whisking Buffy away; the latter leaves the gang, and the slash-fictioneers in the audience, with a teasing "We're just good friends." Joss Whedon himself responded to some posts about Slayer-Sapphism with the following:
"I just read the piece about Buffy and Faith... and by God I think she's right! I can't believe I never saw it! Actually, despite my facetious tone, it's a pretty damn convincing argument. But then, I think that's part of the attraction of the Buffyverse. It lends itself to polymorphously perverse subtext. It encourages it. I personally find romance in every relationship (with exceptions). I love all the characters, so I say Bring Your Own Subtext! "
had another link to a thing with the subtext thing (pardon my non-sensicalness, it crops up from time to time. i have this tendency to...well forget words. once i forgot the word 'glass' 3 times in less than a month. ten minutes trying to explain to my dutch aunt, and neighbour, what i was talking about. a drinking glass. yea, go the brain power hidden here) i tend to go on a bit too, unless stopped. one word and can consider fully stopped. hope twasnt too long an' all....
its on the other comp, if i get a chance and anyone's interested.....

I believe she should be with Angel. Angel and her had a magnetic relationship, they couldn't stand being without one another and weren't ashamed to let people know that they were together. Buffy with Spike on the other hand was ashamed that she had been with him, and even in Season 7 I didn't really see anything between them other than friendship. Season 6 she used him, season 7 she appreciated him more since he had a soul. Although, I think he tried to "pull an Angel" by getting a soul, and him copying off of Angel shows that Buffy is really attracted to Angel.
As well as the last kiss in "Chosen" after Buffy had kissed Spike she says "I love you" and then he looks at her and says "No you don't" It showed that Buffy never got over Angel, she hadn't felt love for anyone since him, and her so called relationship with Spike wasn't because she loved him, it was because she felt "above him" and was comfortable with him.
