Who sings the best?

Which caracter is singing the best in Once more with feeling???

I thought Spike sang the best. "Rest In Peace" is my favorite song from the ep. After hearing JM on there I got the GOTR "Mad Brilliant" CD. He sounds different on there but he is still a really great singer.
The top three singers in the ep, I think, were Spike, Giles, and Sweet. So, that's my opinion. 😀
 
You know, its weird. I would have guessed Anya's voice was changed, I put the song onto my laptop, and its almost painful to listen to. That could just be because my laptop is a bit junkie, haha, now that I think about it I really don't know why that would have anything to do with the song. Anyway I voted Spike, but they were all great, and I'll tip my hat to the writers because the words all the songs were "bloody brilliant". The first time I watched it I was like "what the hell are they singing about?" But, after watching the ENTIRE season, and the season before it, it was just.. wow. Every single word had meaning and it really was.. awesome! A+++ haha
 
i thought Amber was the best because her voice is just plain amazing and she can go really high (which is so fricken hard! believe me! i always get headachs when i sing that high! 😉) and i love it when she duets with ASH! they're voices just go really well together and it sounds amazing when the sing together! i was kind of surprised when i first heard her sing because i didn't really expect people in the cast to have voices that good! Amber did an amazing job and it seemed like she put a lot into her songs. (i'm listening to the soundtrack right now with her singing! lol!!)

btw, i also really really loved Emma, ASH, James, and Hinton! 😀
 
Rupert all the way, he is the man! And does anyone else remember the great piece he sang in season 4 on an acoustic guitar when Spike walks in and scares him?
 
I think Spike had the best voice, marginally better than ASH - however, the best song is Tara and Giles' duet by far.

ASH has the best voice out of the Buffyverse, though. I have albums of Ghost of the Robot and Music for Elevators and I much prefer ASH's voice on those.

Definately without a shadow of a doubt... Amber Benson... Joss himself said she had the sweetest voice. If you watch the Season 6 DVD and the Extras, Joss talks about why he wanted to make a musical. He heard Anthony and James singing and Amber joined in and he thought "hey, I have some good singers here", and he decided to give Amber the love song, because she had the sweetest voice of them all.

I'd have to say that they all have really great voices, for a cast that does no singing what-so-ever.

And for the record, they all sang their own songs. And did anyone else notice that Aly didn't have a song of her own. The only cast member. She says in the DVD extra that shes only there to Lip Sing. She hates her voice. Gee I luff her 😀
 
Tony Head is a professional singer too, having appeared as Frank N. Furter in 'The Rocky Horror (Picture?) Show' on the London stage. In fact the whole thing got started cause everyone wanted to hear him sing (though Joss Whedon has stated that alcohol was involved in some way 😉 ).
 
More Willow

I have to admit that i thought tara was the best also a bit on the romantic side and also bought the CD after watching the episode, however my biggest regret still was that willow had not sang more. i was a little shocked at buffys voice cause she aint a diva but the more i listen and watch the episode on DVD the more her voice just fits!

So my vote was for TARA.
My regret was that willow had not sang back to her!
 
Alyson Hannigan begged Joss Whedon to give her as few singing lines as possible. She later claimed that if she'd known what can be done with technology to 'improve' one's singing voice, she would have asked for a solo.

Yea... I meant for a casted show that wasn't casted by singing talent... Basically I should have said that they were lucky to have hired such talented singing voices without knowing they had. Like a diamond in the rough! 😀

i thought they were all preety good at singing but tara and anya get my vote i also liked antonySH!
 
I'd have to say i like Tara the best. Even tho everyone did an amazing job, and it's one of my fav. episodes. Dawn's voice sounded a lil nasle, yet good... hmm, yeah :tongue:
 
Tony Head and Amber Benson have the best voices. :nod: Their duet was beautiful. 🙂
 
I'm going to have to go with the majority on this one Amber did an amazing job.
 
Amber Benson and Anthony Stewart Head have two of the most amazing voices I've ever heard. They were miles better than everyone else in my view, absolutely outstanding!
