Who was more annoying: Kennedy or Riley?

I like Riley more then I like Kennedy .

I would think so! Riley is mixed I would say. He has a lot of haters but I've seen a lot of love/defence for him .
Kennedy is probably the most hated character on here but I still enjoy her

I remember this poll that came out a number of years ago & Kennedy was voted worst liked character in Buffy/Angel.

For the record I still think Kennedy because while I don't mind Riley or Riley with Buffy (I actually like a lot of what he brings out in her) .
I can't say the same about Kennedy and Willow. Kennedy seems to separate Willow from the rest of the group. It's very clear in S7 and also a bit in S8.

I also like Riley more now on repeated viewings. I think Kennedy is the more annoying - Riley was annoying at times, but Kennedy was always annoying. (During the show. In the comics, I like Kennedy a lot.)

I think Kennedy is still horrible in the comics. She told Buffy she always assumed she was homophobic (Buffy who is friends with lgbt *Willow, Tara, Andrew, Satsu, Kennedy* & sometimes lives with them). She called Buffy "lez faux" to her face. She was possessively jealous of Buffy being friends with Willow now that Buffy has slept with a girl. She told Satsu that Buffy was straight & not gay when neither has been confirmed by Buffy herself, which makes her look like one of those biphobic lesbians.

Kennedy blamed Buffy to her face over sleeping with Angel (which is slut shaming and hypocritical since she seduced Willow the same year the witch started an apocalypse) and for Giles' murder. There was no way Buffy could've known what would happen if she had sex or that Angel was going to get possessed. In Time of Your Life Kennedy didn't know that sex with Willow could open a portal so she's one to talk.

Oh, and Kennedy even blamed Buffy for Willow dumping her. It was like Cordelia blaming Buffy for Xander cheating on her with Willow.

Kennedy was more annoying. And that's saying a lot.

There were moments when I liked her spunk in S7, but I would still pick her over Riley. It's weird because initially I liked Kennedy a lot - I liked her confidence. But every time I rewatch S6, I just think how perfect Willow and Tara were, and I'm annoyed that Kennedy becomes Willow's new love interest when I don't think she even begins to compare to what Tillow was. And she's super pushy, which is off putting.

I don't understand why Buffy/Willow had to hook up with someone (have an actual relationship) right after thier respective ones ended.. and this is coming from someone who really likes Riley and doesn't mind Kennedy (except the comic version @NeonSlayer mentions seems pretty horrific)

It really was way too soon for either of them, especially Willow.
