Well no - it's all fiction after all 😀
Even in fiction . . . there was no true Slayer to me. Not Buffy, Faith or anyone else.

What do you consider a "true" Slayer, then?Even in fiction . . . there was no true Slayer to me. Not Buffy, Faith or anyone else.
i agree with Wanabee Slayer here. doppelganger buffy IS perfectly stable at the end of things.
Yeah. I don't think anyone would say that Faith (or Kendra) were more suited as a slayer than Buffy, but Buffy clearly had her moments of not being the perfect and stable slayer. She had moments of not wanting to be a slayer at all (very understandable, but still), and she had longer moments – like almost whole of season 6 – when she was just (to quote my dear Fran) losing it. I like Buffy, I like her as a slayer and as a character but please, if Buffy was perfectly stable BtVS would be a very uninteresting show to watch. The thing that makes BtVS the awesomely cool and fascinating show that we all love, is in my opinion the fact that Buffy is so messed up and unstable a lot of the time..I have to gladly disagree with you. One thing is wanting Buffy to be perfect because she is "the" slayer and the show is after all called BUFFY the vampire slayer and blaaha blaahaa and then there is totally ignoring what is so utterly obvious in season 6 and 7; Buffy is losing it. The thing is that she is so very stubborn and also so very strong that she tries her best to keep it together and continue with her life, but it still shines through. So very very much.

No, I meant....what characteristics would a "true" Slayer have, in your opinion? No one. I believe there was no "true" slayer.
A true slayer would be one who lives more closely to the tradition of the slayer. One who understands what is to be a slayer. One who doesn't deny that is the slayer.
Faith understood what meant to be the slayer. She never deny being the slayer.
i believe anyone who is a slayer is a true slayer...all of them have the powers of a slayer...
