I'm really curious as to which way B.B.'s members will swing...As far as me, I'm a bit undecided. I know I won't be voting for Bush, though...
 
if he makes it....Wesley Clark...that dude is falkin cool...if he doesn't....i'm screwed...cause...everyone else in the demos seem like pussies..lol
 
The thing is I wont vote for Bush again so I am going against my registered party, but on the other hand the nominees so far from the democratic side of the ball arent much better. It is at this point a very tough decision but it is also very early.
 
A Clark fan! I'm leaning towards him, but Kucinich has some decent stances, too. Maybe I'll just run myself...
 
lol...i wish an ultra alpha would run....like warren beaty...i'd volt for him....cause that dude is the illest...lol...i wonder if he'd act like how he did in bullworth...lol...i'd still volt for him...

kucinich....he's hella idealistic...has very good ideas...but he ain't got that charisma that allot of alpha's got...

even clark...he's courageous enough to go against the grain in Iraq....but he don't got it....he don't got that spark....

man....when is that falk of our time gonna get people to want to volt for him...instead of just volting for him cause he's the least punkish...ehh..maybe those days are over...
 
According to the UK papers today Jimmy Carter is backing Howard Dean and Michael Moore is supporting Wesley Clark. Is Clark the ex-army guy who was against "Gulf War II - Bush's Revenge"?

Bush is apparently unopposed as the Republican candidate. Odd that nobody will actually admit to supporting him then 😉 Perhaps our media has a Democrat bias (Why!?🙂)

Am I right in thinking that this is the primary stage in the US electoral procedure when the parties choose their candidates?

Slightly off-topic - I was saddened by Bush's announcement about the proposed manned flights to the Moon and Mars. Not because I'm against them - I would love to see a Mars landing in my lifetime - but because it seems to be a shabby publicity stunt in Election year. But hey, I'm a Brit so I don't get to vote against Bush. I'll just have to not vote for Blair when it's his turn 🙂 I'm as conflicted as dr Morgus there - I've supported Blair's party for as long as I can remember but I can't bring myself to vote for him again...I wish there were some major politicians around with a bit of integrity and common decency about them.
 
I'm going for Wesley Clark, if I could vote. But of course my 18th birthday lands 4 days after election. Errrg. I wish I could have a fake ID so I could vote. 😛

I wish Nader would run again a vote for him is really a vote agaisnt the other candidates.
 
heh. I'm an American politics student and my god I'd forgotten the Iowa caucus was today.

If I was America I'd probably be voting Clark too. I have nothing against Dean but he doesn't seem to have the 'X Factor.' Anyone see him on the emmys?
 
My dad is all for Wesley Clark. He insists that Clark will get the Democractic nomination because Dean sucks at campaigning. Whoever my dad votes for, that's who I vote for. That's kinda twisted, but I always listen to whatever political stuff he says.
 
but Dean- has anyone seen his online campaign strategy? it is pretty amazing... all those printable 'vote for dean' things for each state and the counters?
 
If I'd live in the US, I'd vote for whoever the democrates come up with. I'd rather have Howard Dean, the fact that Clark is an ex army guy, doesn't really appeal to me.

If only Hillary was in the race!
 
For me it doesn't matter to much who I vote for, I live in a Liberal, Unionized, state, Perhaps the most unionized in the country, We have two Democrat Senators, and a Democrat governor, I am yes a Democrat, But Michigan hasn't voted for a Repulican president since, 88'

So for me I'll vote for (fill in democrat nominee's name here) unless it's Howard Dean, that guy gives me the creeps, he looks like a grown up high school football player, I'm hoping Joe Lieberman, or Wes Clark

Is that Ralph Nader, the consumer rights guy? Does he stand as a "third Party" candidate in your elections? I'd vote for him. Is Ross Perot still around the political arena or has he gone off to play with what little (😉) cash he has left after his election failures?
 
kerry...he's....unoriginal and is not forging his own path....too busy trying to look like kennedy...instead of carving his own personality into the election...
 
I've got the printed article in front of me- the Kerry win is way unexpected. according to this he won 38% of the delegates, Edwards- 32% and Dean- 18%
 
I never even heard of the guy before, untill they showed him on tv today. They also explained that he would be the most strategical pick for the democrats, as he does best with voters, who're not consitant in what party they vote for. So now I hope he wins, anything to beat Bush.
