I've seen a few of her movies. She reminds me of Michelle Trachtenberg when you look at her official website. Not sure how she'd do in the role though. You have any thoughts on why you think she'd be good for the part?

Lol....I dunno, usually whenever I mention Thora Birch for certain roles, I get looked at like I'm crazy.

I'm certainly no LazyDolphin when it comes to the deep, eloquent wordsmithing.....I'll just say that this young lady definitely has the acting chops to pull off an action role of this sort, she's in shape, and she'd have no problem LOOKING the part. So she is a little top-heavy....that's certainly no impediment....LOT'S of athletic gals are top heavy. And Melaka is not exactly flat-chested anyway... 😛

I hate to speak for Watcher Wes (so why do it, right?), but I think we both agree with you. Thora Birch has the necessary...uh...credentials.

All kidding aside though, you're right. She looks a bit like Melaka. She's definitely hot enough to command the screen. If she can act she'd be a good choice.

She can act alright, she was the daughter of Lester Burnham (Kevin Spacey) in American Beauty and starred along side Vincent Kartheiser (Connor) in Alaska. She also had a role in the shortlived TV-series "Parenthood" written by no one less then Joss Whedon.

I think she's up for the job.

FYI: She has also played along side starts like Harrison Ford, Samuel L.
