Who do you think is the most powerful?

Who do you think is a more powerful company Wolfram and Hart or the Watchers Council.
 
Wolfram and Hart by miles... god they have Lilah and Lindsey and a lil bit of Darla & Dru, what more could a company need?
 
but wat about all the magick people they have in the watchers council. theres a whole lot of them. and there linked to all sorts of covens and stuff.
 
true true...but they dont kill people for fun...or whatever wolfram and hart does....( i dont really know alot about wolfram and hart so im just guessing everything)
 
I'd go for Wolfram and Hart, the Watcher's council doesn't seem that powerful anymore now that they don't have a slayer, and they're kinda out of it in England. Wolfram and Hart is huge, and just pays people to fight for them when they need it.
 
Lindsay does have a point...Wolfram and Hart would beat out the Watchers Council cause they dont have a slayer plus W&H can just hire people to take care of them.....(But doesnt Faith still work for the council or not??? i kinda forget)
 
I think Wolfram and Hart would beat the Watchers Counsil but really we don't know all that much about the Watchers Counsil to begin with. Knowbody does but they do have alot going for them. I just think that with Wolfram and Hart having all these people in different dimensions and stuff it would make it alittle easier for them to win a fight then the counsil even if the counsil has all that magic and books.
 
Totally agree with Tara, it's impratical to make suggestions about the Council with little to no information apart from that they house the power to... well watch over Slayers and play around with sections of the Occult. Wolfram and Hart on the other hand have proved time and time againt that they have the means and power to crush and defeat any foe in the standings. My choice therefore is unanimous, W&H would crush, burn and then stick little tooth pick sized flags imprinted "W&H" all over whatever's left. Burn baby BURN...
 
Of course i'm going with Wolfram and Hart. From the powers that we have seen they have the capacity and the ability to take care of anything and anyone. As for magickal capability that Leo13 mentioned, Wolfram and Hart do have a lot of this, some which has been revealed to us and some which have not. For instance the all powerful 'Senior Partners'. Plus they have offices in LA, London, Paris and i think also Rome.
 
very good points, but the watchers council is wworld wide as well. I also think the watchers council are quite hidden. Althoough wolfram and hart have loads of demons. But in knowledge the watchers council have a better andvacntage. We also know that everyone in the watchers council are trained in knoledge a bit of magick and fihting too.they have alot of information like when in season 5 and this might be a spoiler to bbc veiwers or season 5 veiwers









They had all that stuff on glory. I wonder where they got that from. The watchers council is more trained in everything and I dont think the hire people on a job because the never need to do such jobs. Only really when there is somthing like glory they need to do alot of work. Also in wolfram and heart the people are only prepared and know certain things and use each other like a jigsaw. The watchers council could easily track down anyone when needed just like wolfram and heart.
 
Wolfram and Hart. The Watcher's Council isn't very powerful in whole. They may produce the Watchers and the Slayers but when you think about it, that's just a sub section of that group and if we were to put a bunch of Council members in a room with some vampires, they probably would last very long (okay, neither did the W & H lawyers in "Reunion", but still!).
 
Giles mentioned in one episode that the Council has power to do virtually anything, that they have connections everywhere (something like: 'they can <make your life a living hell> / <anything> at the stoke of a pen' ).

Then when Giles kills Ben in The Gift' he tells him that Buffy isn't 'like them', which can be interpreted as 'Halfgods obscured from the human eye', which would make the Council powerfull indeed. Of course it can also mean 'Human, not Hero', which would negative my reasoning 😉.

Don't know much about W&H except that they can bring vampires who were dusted back to life, which is quite a powerfull thing by itself 🙂.
 
I personaly think teh Watchers COuncil will win. I think they are a bit wiser than Wolfarm and heart. Just my opinion.
 
Wolfarm and Hart are alot like the Sith. They would rather fighting each other for power, than actually band together and stop the Watcher's Council. Like Spike and Adam. They would rather try to trick/use the other than actually do any harm.
 
Also, take a look at Spike and Angelus. Here are the two biggest bads on the earth...ready to send it all to Hell, then Spike realizes that Angelus is moving in on his girl. So, instead of letting Angelus have everything including Drusilla, he goes to Buffy and makes a deal so he can have Drusilla and Buffy can save the world. It's okay if Spike wants to destoy the world. As long as he can do it alone and with Drusilla. ie..the Sith analogy.
 
sorry if I sound stupid but my i ask what SITH is.
Oh can I also add the initiation, well i think thats what it is called,(rileys thing andy way) They are like kind of strong but they use weapons and stuffy which isnt so powerful against demons and strong magic.
