Who's the funniest character?

There are different kinds of funny, and every person finds things funnier than others. Some have a strange sense of humor, some black humor, some like stupid jokes. Some like them witty or with word playing. So every character is funny in a unique way if their own. But which one do you think is the funniest?

to me it was always a tie between Xander and Oz... But I voted for Oz because he... well, also have great hair.

Though I'm obviously biased towards choosing Xander, I do think he had some of the best comedy dialogue in the show.

And I was hoping for the poll with only Xander, Anya, Cordy, Andrew and Spike. I was SO torn between Xander and Anya. But I voted for Xander because he's been funny longer than her. 🙂

I voted Anya because she was funny without even trying, i mean most of the time she was funny by saying something mean about someone or just being honest about them lol Xander was my second choice and Andrew would have been third.

Andrew, hands down. Some great moments, as well as running jokes and some awesome quotability 😀 And also an easy character to relate to.

At one time or another, all of the characters were involved in funny situations, but almost always, with the possible exception of Xander in the early seasons, they were the straight man reacting off of someone else's line or action. Anya actually delivered the most funny lines.

Anya, by far. I love her.. they're all funny in their own way, all have good and funny lines, but Anya's the best ^^

Xander, Anya, and Willow are my top three. Xander was simply a goofy character. Anya had that whole "I'm an ex demon who doesnt understand being human" thing going. Willow, although not consistently funny she has a lot of great funny quotes.

Willow: You remember. You fail math. You flunk out of school. You end up being the guy at the pizza place that sweeps the floor and says, 'Hey kids, where's the cool parties this weekend?' We've been through this.

Buffy: Willow, you're a gay woman... and *he* isn't.
Willow: This isn't about his physical presence, it's about his heart.
Anya: His physical presence has a penis.
Willow: I can work around it.

Xander: Once you get back the soul, doesn't that mean you start, like, picking up your own wet towels off the floor?
Willow: No, but maybe you start to feel really bad about leaving them there.

Anya: Well, you're gonna have to do better than that. I'd kill for him.
Willow: You'd kill for a chocolate bar. "

Overall I'd say Xander cos he was there longest and generally got the funniest lines, but Andrew comes a very very close second.

Is this supposed to be about BtVS only? I'm guessing yes... I voted Xander because he made me laugh the most on the show 🙂 There was others like Giles, Anya, Spike, Andrew who were really funny at times, but not as often as Xand.

Now if you had asked on BOTH BtVS & Angel... then Cordelia easy. She was funny on BtVS and totally hilarious on Angel 🙂 GO CORDY! Also Lorne, Angel, Wes(s1-2) and Gunn had their moments.

Anya is deff the funniest character! She's so clueless about everything and most of the time she doesn't even realize what she's saying is the most stupidest yet funniest thing ever XD so yep, Anya gets my vote 😉

Anya gets my vote, she definitely made me laugh a hell of a lot! I guess Willow would be up there though.

I don't find Xander funny at all... I hate the way Nicholas Brendan talks and delivers lines.

I chose Spike as I like the sarcasm and one liners he comes out with. Anya is quite funny too.

Anya gets it for me too. Especially with Willow. I loved their sniping in Triangle.

Xander got my vote.
Could easily have choosed Anya or even Spike though.

But somehow Xander feels like the original funny one and deservs the vote.

Spike's funnier because he's Spike... but to be legit in my mind it's close with him and Anya.

And I can't help but feel like Andrew should be on this list. He was kind of hysterical. Not as funny as Spike of course, but pretty funny nonetheless... I guess it's because he was only in seasons 6 and 7 and only SUPER funny in 7...
