Oh IIIIIIII remember this article!
Charmed is consistent with its witchcraft...
And Buffy isn't? This was the whole "first its just magic, then it's lesbianism and then it's an addiction" thing right? Well just because the four P sisters just chant words and through nicely colored potions at demons to "vanquish" them, doesn't mean it's consistent, it means it doesn't change or grow.
The magic was a part of Willow and Willow was a part of the magic. She grew and as did it. You know it REAL life, things and people do change.
on Charmed, people of color survive longer than one season...
Because people of color surviving longer makes the show much better! I like the show Fresh Prince but I guess it's a bad show since there aren't many whites on there! DAMN!
And Joss has even said himself that Sunnydale is one of those small, and predominantly white towns. OH and just for the sake of argument, Forrest? Principal Wood? Gunn (ok ANGEL but still)?
on Charmed, 'Good' has a role to play and follows set guidelines...
What is this one saying?
Like I don't get it.
on Charmed, characters deaths are actually grieved...
They are grieved on Buffy too, it's just real grieving. Buffy doesn't say: "Oh how I MOURN and GRIEVE my mothers death!! How CAN I go on?!?!?!"...She actually gets hurt every time she looks at her sister is a reminder, Buffy hurts from it throughout the series, in a REAL LIFE way.
on Charmed, relationships can succeed...
Relationships
can succeed on Buffy, they just don't very often. Tillow? that was a success, Tara just
after. I'd think it was the other way around. Piper is with a "whitelighter", Phoebe with a demon, Prue with a dead cop, and Paige was just all over the place.
on Charmed, morality counts...
Is this the whole Death is real thing?
Because I don't see anything about death being serious in real when all the sisters (main characters may I add) die many times a season and somehow get brought back to life. And DON'T pull the Prue card on me, because the only reason she didn't come back was because of the actress. If Shannen Doherty said she wanted to come back, TRUST me, she would have.
