Why do ppl think its weird when boys(or people for that matter) watch btvs?

I've noticed that too. We all seem to be more relaxed and chilled out, lol. We can keep being kool while evreybody else misses out. And what does Buffy have to do with being gay?
 
This guy in my class told me that he watched BUFFY for two minutes and saw two girls kissing and that his mom saw it with him and he told her that I introduced him to that show.... Must be bad first impressions.

When I first started watching BUFFY and ANGEL, I was like my friends and I was young so there was still an ick factor in kissage and I didn't understand Willow and Tara... I was basically interested in the comedy and horror. My friends can't look past the exterior and when they do, some people are too immmature to understand it...
 
Hey, thats how it was for me when i first saw it. I was tought "Gay-bad-dont watch"
so i didnt for like ever. im glad i have now.
 
I've never asked what my friends think about it. They know I'm a fan, but they never bring it up. I think they're a little scared, lol.
 
some people don't watch it because they see a gay couple and they think it's gross or they don't understand it. But that has nothing to do with the show. Buffy doesn't make a big deal about it. The kiss isn't advertised all over to announce to the world 'Yes, we are gay!'. Willow/Tara's first kiss was in the body. It wasn't a big thing, must a natural action. It isn't a big deal. Why shouldn't they kiss? Why shouldn't the characters on Buffy fall in love? Did you know that WB tried to get joss to cut the kiss from the Body, but e refused. Yay for him. Don't let WB push you around.

I think that some people don't like it not because they're against same-sex couples, but some don't like it 'cause they think Buffy is fake and that the show is too corny... My friend despises Buffy talk because he thinks it's just about a girl fighting vampires, but then I showed him a little bit of Becoming P2 and now he's hooked...

I guess guys don't give Buffy a chance because they get the impression that it's fake...
