Why/How you chose your Username

Man, I loved S Club! I even wrote fanmail and drew a stupid little picture to go with it. *cringes*
I watched the show, but I had no idea there was a film. I wish I had watched it before because now I have no intention of watching it.

My initials are "AEP." Switch the "P" and "E" and you get ape. Apes Find Shapes is also the name of a children's book my aunt gave me from some discarded books she brought home when I was little, when she worked at the public library.

Well I used to use diffrent usernames for every site I was on and it got so confusing so when I was 19 i made all of my usernames the same on everything I was on. I chose redheadboi19 because I am a naturall red head, boi cause I am a guy(and I am gay) and 19 cause that was my age at the time and I just have never bothered to change it the number so i cant get confused again (I died my hair blond for 13 years and some of that die sunk in a think and I have a lot of blond moments. Like more then most blonds have. its scarry.)

My original username was EmptyColours, which eventually coined my nickname EC! I honestly don't really remember how I came about that name, if I've posted it before - I've completely forgot. However, it wasn't the original username I wanted. I originally wanted Tsquared, but it didn't even cross my mind at the time when I registered (I did it so quickly), and I forgot all about name changes when I read it in the FAQ. Tsquared is the pseudonym used by Tom Taylor of MLG (Major League Gaming). I've been following him since about 2005, I'm a huge gamer and gaming fan (especially Halo)! I first found out about Tom in '05 when he was in MTV's True Life I'm a Professional Gamer. Since then the dude has come a long way, and now he is even captain of my favorite team - Str8 Rippin. They haven't done well since 2008, but I'm no bandwagoner and I maintain my loyalty. I'm even planning on going to an upcoming MLG event to support them, if my parents will let me. Hehe but yeah, hence: Tsquared. 🙂

I was going to go with Esquared (a shout out to EC, but decided against it). Lol, sometimes I'm so nerdy. 😛

I like the new username, very cool :)
There are different kinds of fruit juices or frozen yogourts or whatever that claim to be 'jungle berry' flavour. It's a meaningless marketing construct, but it's a phrase that stuck in my wife's mind and she started using it all the time. So "Bungle Jerry" is a spoonerism of that. I decided instead of different names for different corners of the internet that I wanted to make one name to use for all on-line endeavors, and it seemed, through a quick Google search, that there was no-one else out there with the name Bungle Jerry, so there you go. I'm not sure I'm that crazy about it anymore, but I figure I'm stuck with it.

/Random... I kinda want to legally change my name to Wishing... Heh.

See, I really love usernames that are like actual names (Think Kean/Lyri... I'm so jealous of their usernames. (sw) ), which is why I went through that crazy name change thing. I was trying to make my username sound more actual!name-ish. And then I realized that my name is Wishing. And I was happy. (sw)

I'm jealous of Kean's name too, but for different reasons. Like a lot of people here, I got to the point where I had different usernames all across the internet and I wanted to consolidate them into one unique name that would never be taken. So I racked my brain, thinking of all my favourite words and finally settled on "kalonite". ("kalon" being an old Greek word for inner beauty, so kalonite would be someone who looks for and follows that concept). So, I changed everything. And then I got to the boards. Every time I thought of it in that context, all that sprung to mind was "Keanoite". She's only Kean now, but I'll always remember her as that. So she spoiled it. She spoiled it before I even thought of it.

Bitca. 😉

So, yeah, I'm stuck with Lindsey. As things to be stuck with go, it's definitely up there with the greats, but still. I shall forever harbour resentment in my heart, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Well my first name on here was LizzieRainbow. It was a nickname i got in college when the teacher didn't hear what my surname was and thought i said Rainbow so she just decided to call me Lizzie Rainbow all of the time. Now i am Willowgal, pretty obvious that one is just coz i like willow. Kinda miss my old name on here now, weird how you can feel different having a different username.

Me not being a dude (couldn't be Mr. Pointy), I wanted to make nice with Mr. Pointy (not the fella on here with said username, tho I'll be happy to make nice with him as well... err, and definitely not 'make nice' in the 'ooh la la' way-- in either scenario. ...tho I'm sure he's a fantastic fella. It's just that I-- ...should probably stop diggin' ma'grave.)! RIGHT, I was saying. I was thinking MrsPointy, but for some reason at the time, I didn't dig the way it looked, so I was like-- OOH I remember, I didn't like that I was being grammatically (or whatever) incorrect by not putting the period in (Maybe I'm a little bit anal?), so I was like, 'What's "Mrs." stand for? I'll use the whole word!' ...and 'mistress' just sounds hotter and more vampversey anyway. 😛

Awh snap! Re-reading that shows... girl should use her backspace button! 😛

Well, I am a Scooby Gang groupie. :X3: Simple as that. 🙂
When non-BtVS fans see the name they always think I'm just really into watching Scooby-Doo though. 🙁 I liked Scooby growing up and all but that's not what it's for. 😛

The first half of my is just a shorter version of my name. Very few people call me Manda (just a couple of friends), but I like it 🙂
The second half is what my little cousin used to call me when he was a toddler. He had a hard time saying my actual name, so he called me Meena. My uncles find this hilarious because I guess "Meena" sounds similar to a slang word in Italian for a woman's breasts. Even though it was mortifying as a child, I have decided to embrace it.

Well, I thought long and hard....

Hah, no. I always use my first name, and aside from really huge sites, it's always available. I was actually shocked it was available on here, because this is no doubt the biggest site I've joined. Anyway, I completely gave up on creating a good username because I'm terrible at them.

The last one I made was "Stand in Girl" four or so years ago on fanfiction.net (I'm still that, by the way--and yes that was a shameless plug). I came up with that one because I was playing that game where you switch around the words in band names to the opposite and the other person tries to guess them. I was a big fan of Fall Out Boy (I know, I know), and the opposite was Stand In Girl... *cringes* I'd change it on ff.net, but I have a lot of people following me and don't want to lose them. My e-mail starts with Kelseyohsnap, which I get teased for all the time, though I'm not as embarrassed by that one.

So, yes. I dropped everything else and just kept my name. I consider myself a clever girl, but damn if I can't come up with usernames.
