Why is Season 7 hated soo much?

Lilah: yeah anya deserved a better death!!
The Male Slayer: 🙂i think anya was funny.. just that whole perckyness😀

I know she wasnt like, the most liked scooby, but I would have thought maybe someone, would have at least cried for her.
I mean, it didnt look like Xander did, he just huffed like he was out of breath...

I don't think I remember Xander ever really crying, except maybe when Willow was in the hospital... I wouldn't take it the wrong way, Male Slayer. I think he was content in what Anya did for Anya, and he was trying to be strong.

I thought that the First Evil was a dumb villain. I didn't like anything attached to the FE, including the Potentials or Buffy's long speeches. Also, every episode included the FE. And almost no stand alone episodes. Jonathan died! The Killer In Me didn't resolve Tara's death. Also, I don't like Killow or Spuffy and Willow should have done some spells besides the one in Chosen.
Rant done.

Remember Buffy's Everyone sucks but me speech?
Season 7 is the worst season ever. But off LMPTM, it got better. Because of Faith.

i don't think s7 is that kinda bad,i still prefer another seasons(s1-s2-s3,bangel!!!!)-i think s4 is worse than s7(riley's fault),i didn't like s6 cuz it was too dark and depressed,...without mention spuffy...

IMO:
(season---deserves a---)
s1:8
s2:10
s3:9
s4:4
s5:8
s6:7
s7:7

I liked Season 7 but I think it got too cramped towards the end - they tried to do too many things before the end of the season!!

I didn't like the Willow and Kennedy relationship, it had no chemistry at all!! I think that was the worst storyline of the season!!!

And also i agree with Lilah - too much Spike. The season was focused too much on Buffy and Spike, Spike's soul when it should have been more focused on all the characters!! I would have liked to see Anya more, even Xander was starting to disappear there and what happened to teaching Dawn to fight!!

S7=my fave season. Spike was in no way to mopey for someone w/ a newly tortured soul (beneath u was AWESOME!) Season 6 was cool. It would have been better if Spike hadn't had the demon eggs in 'As You Were,' and if he hadn't acted so evil in 'Dead Things,' and if he hadn't tried to rape our favorite slayer. (Moral: I dont like it when Spike is mean. I want him to be good, so I can believe in Spuffy.) Season 6 had to happen though, because it was basically Buffy readjusting to being alive again. Even if u didnt like it much, u couldnt have Buffy just be "I've been ripped out of heaven, let's party!"

S5- AMAZING! I SOBBED AFTER 'THE GIFT,' IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!

S4-Uggh. But it had to happen, so they could untroduce Spike to the cast, and introduce Tara and Anya and Riley.

S3-Very nice. No complaints.

S2-Good because they intorduced Spike, and the later seasons of Buffy wouldnt have been the same w/ out him.

S1-Cool, because BtVS started.

Season 7 is probably my least favorite season, but I don't dislike it at all. I don't dislike any Buffy at all. I mean, there were a lot of good episodes toward the beginning, but with all the potentials just waiting around and training, it just felt a little repetitive. When I buy the DVDs, I'm sure that I'll enjoy it much more. It's been a while since all that aired too.

I love both of the seasons, yeah season 6 got a little bit dark for my liking but i still thought that it was a totally awesome season. I think that season 7 was the best season yet (but i think that about every season that ive just watched hehehe!!) xD

I liked season 7.

But I understand where a lot of people are coming from. The Potentials were very annoying, Kennedy was REALLY annoying, Tara's death did not get resolved, I don't think Willow's magic was resolved, and her only spell in Chosen, a lot of poeple didn't like Buffy near the end (I did), and there are so many more reasons.

Basically, I think one reason is that The First was a lame villian. And Caleb just made it worst. And Anya should have had more respect paid to her from the others. Nobody said anything about her... only Xander when he asked Andrew.

So, I liked it because of Spike's character development, and I loved Buff and her speeches. But I understand why it is disliked.

I really like the first and i actually thought that Caleb made it better, i really liked him and the priest thing that he had goin. but as for the annyoin potentials and the Anya thing i totally think that your right. i was so suprised thqat only Xander asked about Anya i loved her and i cant believe that she died 🙁

Actually I loved this season, and hated it too, it was bitter/sweat for me...we got Willow back, but we lost the sense of were a group that they should always have...but it was a fine season, with some of the greates stand alone episodes.

I gotta admit some of the eps were a complete waste of time but i liked those episodes, like him i thought that that ep was cool and a waste of time it didnt really have anything to do with the actuall season (or at least the story behind it). i think that was one of the main reasons that i didnt really like season 7, why it kinda didnt live up to all of the other seasons. but overall i tought that season 7 was very good season 🙂

I liked this season but when the potentials came then everything turned towards them and I wanted Buffy to train Dawn like she was in the begginning of the season and the fact that some of the season felt abit rushed.

I liked each indivudual ep, but as a whole the season was chopppy, inconsistent, had bunches of plotholes, had uneven pacing, and left loose ends everywhere. It wasn't thought out. Storylines were dropped halfway through the season and never picked up again. It was sloppily written, and Buffy deserved better for it's last season. The Scoobies were pushed aside for Spike (don't get me wrong, I still love him), and their few scenes were always forced. The acting was still top notch, there were really great moments, and Andrew was wonderful (I loved "Storyteller"), but overall it felt like the writers were making it up as they went along.

I REALLY didn't like season seven. I still can't put my finger on it, but there was something about it that I just didn't like. I didn't like the "Potential Slayers" I thought they could have done without their whole storyline. I thought the idea the The first could "morph" into anyone it wanted to was a really cool idea! I think I also didn't like the fact that they characters were so serious. This season definately wasn't a "lite" one. Buffy was 2 serious towards the end, but I can understand it since she was fighting a battle she thought she couldn't win. I also agree that season 6 was a little too dark, but I'm a true spuffy fan, so i liked it more than some others would have
