Why the world didn't end in The Gift, my theory!! no more plot holes!

well its just like BecomingPt.2 Angels blood opened up Acathlas portal and they needed blood to close it so buffy rammed her sword through Angel and he went into the portal even though she couldve just thrown the sword into the portal and it would mistake the sword for Angel since it has his blood on it but when Dawn opened up the portal we saw these 2 demons that looked like aliens appear then this dragon fly out of the portal so basically all these demons from different diminsions were able to come into another world, which I think maybe thats how the First probably crosses realities. Buffy and Dawn share the same blood so the portal mistook BUffy for Dawn and if Dawn were a table I think Glory wouldve just broke off a leg and throw it to where the portal would open because remember the portal cant open anywhere it had to have a precise place and then Glory would find her hell diminesion and rule while our reality gets crumbled

So, if you think that the Acathla portal could have been closed by throwing the sword w/ Angel's blood in it, then do you think the portal thing that Buffy jumped into could've been closed w/ the knife that cut Dawn? Isn't it sort of the same? I think the person had to die.
Second, it's interesting that you think thats when the first was able to start its evilness or whatever. There was an episode that the first mentioned how it was Buffy that made it possible for the first to show itself. It could've been in connection to that.
btw, that would be so funny if the key was a table. I'd like to see Buffy heroicly through a kitchen table into the portal. haha 😀
