I think it would be interesting if Xander is in the position of turning someone down. If you look at all his previous relationships, they have all been with very agressive women. It would be interesting if Xander found himself in the place he was in in Prophecy Girl, with Renee declaring her love for him and he not feeling the same way. It would be a nice circle in a way.
Especially if S8 gets some Bander going on. I've been waiting for 10 years damnit. B/Xers deserve some payoff.
