For members of the Scooby Gang or Angel Investigations who didn't meet, would they be friends?

Scoobies:
Buffy
Xander
Willow
Giles
Jenny
Joyce
Oz
Tara
Faith
Kendra
Spike
Riley
Dawn
Andrew
Wood

Angel Inc.:

Angel
Cordy
Wesley
Gunn
Fred
Lorne
Doyle
Connor

Willow and Fred actually met, so I'm not going to count them, but I will say Fred and Tara. And probably Tara and Lorne. Oh, and Lorne and Joyce.

Fred and Giles, for the same reasons as Giles and Willow.

Xander/Oz and Gunn. Riley's too cleancut to get along with Gunn, though.

Cordelia and Anya, at least initially.

Faith and Jenny. Jenny didn't take BS from anyone and she was very direct/to the point. If Jenny had still been around in Season 3 and Faith killed someone, there's not a doubt in my mind that Faith would't have went to her.

Dawn and Connor, even during his "I hate the world and the world hates me" phase in Season Four. Better than Connor and Cordy, anyway.

Cordy and Wood. Better than Faith and Wood, anyway.

I always wanted to see the Scoobies' reaction to Wesley becoming badass and Cordelia becoming 'the heart' of AI. Wesley and Giles in particular might have become really good friends due to their similar experiences over time.

Looking over the list at the top of the page I realize Angel has met everyone on it with the exception of Wood. Spike met everyone on it except Doyle.

More Angel and Dawn moments would have been nice.

I did feel the same about Wesley and Cordelia, especially Wesley. Giles had his checkered past with Ripper, whereas Wesley's arc was the opposite - a goody-two-shoes prefect to a stone cold, emotionless murderer.

Anya and Lorne may have gotten on well together too.

I would have liked to see Cordelia's reaction to successful big shot Xander. She always hammered it into his head that he'll grow up to be a pizza delivery boy - which he was briefly - but to see him in a suit as the boss of his own crew. Really, really wanna see her reaction.

Buffy/Connor: For the same reason people want to see Dawn/Angel. A reaction to the significant person in someone else's life.

Dawn/Connor: Angsty, whiny teens of a similar age. There would've been a mutual sulk 'my parent is stupid' solidarity.

Giles/Wesley and Xander/Cordelia: Just to see reactions to all the character growth. I think Giles would've been impressed (with S3 Wesley, maybe not S4 Wes) and offered a bit of Watcherly encouragment/wisdom. Xander would've been darn impressed. I also think Cordelia would've been (pleasently) surprised by her ex's maturity.

Tara/Faith: So Faith could've made nice and apologized for being mean. Also Tara's empathetic enough to see through a lot of Faith's emotional walls and maybe want to be her friend anyway. Plus they have mutual crappy childhood solidarity.

Buffy/Lorne: I just think she's really like him.

Refresh my memory, were there any Angel Dawn moments? I cant recall them.
There are Angelus Dawn moments. Angelus phone-checking if the slayer in LA was Buffy.

Buffy/Lorne: I just think she's really like him.
Lorne guest-staring OMWF and getting beaten by Sweet before Buffy singing would be nice!

Lorne gate-crashing the episode out of nowhere would've been a touch of genius IMO.

I don't think Cordy would be impressed by that. I think she would have equated construction with pizza delivery.

Why would she do that? He's not a mere construction worker. He's the boss of his own crew. He goes to meetings. He draws plans. He wears a fancy suit. He makes a lot of money. That's way different than pizza delivery.

From Fool For Love shooting script:

WILLOW
Wow. So they really work for you?

XANDER
Well technically, they work for the construction company. But they are my crew. I tell them what to do, and they very often do it.

ANYA
Except sometimes they do it wrong and he gets to be all stern, but fair. It's so damn cute.

Considering that by that time Xander was only 19. That's pretty impressive.

The only times I remember Xander wearing a suit was at Prom and at the wedding.

Fancy suit, fancy suitcase, fancy car..... I'm really shocked you guys don't remember Xander doing so well financially.

GwenRaiden: Weird. Was it just that one episode?

Actually, two different episodes. Guys, really, Xander being a successful adult in the working field isn't a new knowledge. I thought it was established since S5 when he got the promotion that he's doing very well.

Actually an argument could be made that, at least in America, you are less successful if you wear a suit.

Personally, yeah, I don't think a suit is an indication of how successful you are. Nor a briefcase or even a car. My pal who works at a bank wears a suit and drives a decent car to work, but in no way does he class himself as a "successful banker". He just works there for a small salary.

I don't know how the suit became the most important part of the discussion. My point was that Xander is successful when Cordelia thought he would grow up to be nothing. He's the boss of his own crew. He can shut the crew down if he wants. He draws plans and goes to meetings. He can afford a pricey apartment and a nice car.

All achieved at the age of 19 years old. Cordelia at 19 is Angel's assistant and barely gets paid - just watched the episode Darla S2. I'm sure she'll be impressed by Xander's achievement at this point in their lives.

Cordelia seems more impressed by tall, muscle-y men with nice arms- Groo, Angel. 🙂

And anyway I don't remember Cordelia having that much aminosity towards Xander at the end of S3. I bet they wished each other well before she went off to find her LA fortune.
