Ok then, ladies, gents and demons. Let your imagination run wild.

What would you be like a vampire in your opinion. Let's look at it under these categories (although the discussion is in no limited to these at all.)

1. Master or Minion

Would you take orders or would you be a master vampire with minions of your own? Or simply a rogue loner.

2. Acts of Evil

What would be your trade mark. Take over the world? Maybe be a vampire entrepreneur? Torture people etc.


3. Take on a Slayer?

Would you be bold enough?

4. Get a soul?

Would you get a soul voluntarily do you think? And why?

5. Cursed?

If you were cursed with a soul how would you handle it?

For me?

1. Master or Minion

I'd perhaps start off as a minion and grow in understanding of vampirism but as soon as the going got tough I'd betray my master (like Mr Trick) and go solo. After that I'd be a rogue or perhaps maybe have a vamp lover but I'd keep the ranks small and maybe only use minions much later on when I was a few hundred years old but even then it would be on a temporary basis. I'd spend most of my time alone.

2. Acts of Evil

I'd be creative with death. I doubt I'd be as sadistic as Angelus but I'd make it into an art of some sort, making it purposeful. Aside from that, flights of hedonism.

3. Take on a Slayer?

Nope, I'd avoid them. I would want to live a long time as a vamp so being staked a week after I'd been turned wouldn't be the best plan.

4. Get a soul?

Not voluntarily. After killing for years, it wouldn't be nice to remember that with a conscience. I would also wouldn't change for love (in real life too). If I turned my back on killing, it would be because I personally believed in it, not because I'm trying to be who I think someone wants me to be.

5. Cursed?

I'd most likely go crazy with the guilties but if someone approached me to fight the good fight, perhaps I could be pursuaded...

First off great thread idea!

Without a conscience I honestly think I would be a sadistic bitca. Kind of a worrying thought actually.

Master or Minion

I would definietly be a Master. I don't take orders well. I tend to be the person taking charge of situations so more than likely I would kill anyone who tried to cross me.

Acts of Evil
I'm with Kana I think I would try an make it as artful and meaningful as I could. Also I'm fairly sure I would be on a total ego trip and try and make it something so outrageous and disturbing that I would go down in infamy.

Take on a Slayer
I think I probably would if I was confident that I could take her down. I'd more than likely study them for awhile and way up would it be worth the risk. I definitely wouldn't take Buffy on.

Get a Soul
Absolutely not! What decent creature of the night would want to inflict that on themselves. I'd probably try and find a way to make sure I NEVER got a soul, like maybe destroying any magics relating to re-ensoulment!

Cursed
I'd go insane with the guilt. That is one emotion I cannot handle. Turns my stomach in knots. I don't know if I would have lasted as long as Angel knowing what I had done.
 
I dont think i would be a Master or Minion, i think i'd run with a small gang of select Vamps.

But evil acts. Yes. Probably some pure evil and some general terrorizing of the towns folk.

I'd also HAVE to search for and fight slayers, got to become a legendary dark warrior.

As for souls and curses, well, i wouldnt bother with that type of stuff.

I think my quest for power would make me play all my advanteges to subjugate as many as possible. Though I'd feel more confident if I had maybe one vampire equal to me, powerwise.

I would probably see killing as some sort of a job and try to fulfill like a certain quotas of deaths per night, making a name for myself.

3. Take on a Slayer?

Nope, not directly. Maybe if I could barbiturate her or something, to gain total control, but not much with the risk.

4. Get a soul?

Probably not. I mean, if I'm the evilest vampire bitca there is, successful, the misstress of thousands, why would I want a soul?

5. Cursed?

I would try my best to get rid of it again.

I like to be my own boss and hate orders, so probably Master but no matter what I'd never be a minion. Maybe I'd do the safety in numbers thing, just hanging with a gang of vamps, because to be honest if I tried to be a Master vampire I'd probably end up like Harmony. For shame. Haha

I think I'm low on the evilometer because I can't think of anything. I'd probably one of those vampires who kill of all their ties to their life- friends, family etc. Totally evil I know, but they'd SO hold me back to the side of good. Haha. I'd have to turn my husband though. That counts as an act of Evil right? We could then try to be the next Angelus and Darla (Not Spike and Dru because I'm insane but not THAT insane...). Yeah, we'd be vamps with ambition. Haha!

3. Take on a Slayer?

Not straight away. That'd be just dumb. But I don't think I'd be able to resist after a while. I mean, I'd wanna know if I could take her, but I think I'd be a little afraid too. So I'd do the whole preparation thing, come up with some master plan...which would most likely fail but hey, points for effort.

4. Get a soul?

Nah. Did you SEE what Spike went through to get his? I'll pass thanks. And I'd stay away from any gypsy girls.

5. Cursed?

Mourn for a long time about all the Evil I'd done, but eventually I'd have a sort of Spike outlook and go 'What's done is done. All I can do is try to make up for it now'. Which I would do...but if there was a Xander-esque person constantly calling me 'Dead Girl' my patience would be very tested, pushed...and close to ending.

I would mess with their minds, and probably torture the people that I hated when I was still a human.

I actually might, but not right away. I'd read up on them, and try and learn her weaknesses before I'd take her on.

I doubt it. like Joyce said, what spike went through!? no thanks!

I would try and figure out all the ways of getting rid of the curse

My Curse--Would be an eternal cycle of slaying and shagging, slaying and shagging...It's a rough un-life, but somebody's gotta do it.

Id be the one who seduces men into bed and then after kills them. Wow thats harsh haha but if i were a vamp, id want to be a sexy but deadly one.

Not a master exactly, but not a loner either. Just me and a partner or two, with maybe a couple of minions. So not a big bad Master-like master, more a Spike-like boss 🙂

Definitely just having fun... reckless abandon, vampire-style. Bodies everywhere, blood everywhere, lots of parties- you'd definitely know where I'd been!

Hey, it'd be a challenge right?? And especially if someone dared me- I'm not the type to back down to a challenge... then again I'm not the type to lose either.

Hell no. It's so much more fun to be evil without feeling remorse for it... but then I'm wondering how well my soul actually works in the first place...

5. Cursed?

I'd probably go mental at first... but then I'd deal, maybe even ignore it and try and carry on- to a lesser extent. I mean, like I said before, how well does my soul really work anyway??

Stalk and watch, for weeks, before grabbing my new plaything. Collecting mementos of my victims. And most definitely the chained-to-a-wall living bloodbank routine. (I'd be one of the "sensibles", I guess...)

3. Take on a Slayer
Most definitely not, though I'd probably obsess on becoming a repository of knowledge about the Slayers to rival the COW.

4. Get a soul
Really depend on how much is left of "me". I might actually be one to walk that stony path out of my own decision.

5. Cursed
That's quite "Been there, done that" for me, I've had my Angel years. Religion is my answer in life, it would probably be my answer in unlife, too.

Neither. I'd want to go alone, or perhaps go with a smaller group where I'd be more of a comrade than a "minion."

Hmm...I'd want it to be poetic and artistic, as evil as that sounds. I'd think of something once I got there.

Once I was older, stronger, and more confident, alright. But as a newborn? Uh, no thanks!

4. Get a soul?
No way! Like others have said, after what Spike went through? I don't think I'd want bugs crawling up my nose...yuck! Maybe I would under the right circumstances, like Spike did, but definitely not just for the sake of having one!

5. Cursed?
Well, I'd like to be cursed early, before I did anything truly, disgustingly evil. But if I'd done everything Angelus had, I'd be a wreck. I feel guilty very, very easily, and it'd be incredibly difficult for me to even start to pull myself together. I think I'd react the same way Spike did in the beginning of season 7...I'd lock myself in a basement and go crazy.

First order of business, turn two and the rest are food. Then ruling the world, of course. On the way to that point, there'd be a lot of crucifying my enemies.

Um....no.

If I was curse with a soul, I'd probably spend at least 3 weeks moaning in a basement....and then I'd be fine.

I think I'd have human minions in the form of a publishing company. My attitude in life is live and let live... but eating doesn't count cuz dude, you gotta eat. Also, I don't so much care when people die. Darfur, for instance? Don't care. I did my research, found out that every super power from Egypt to England has tried to stop the fighting there, and realized that it's not gonna work because it's a climate/resources issue at heart, so it's not really any of our business. Rwanda? Glad the U.S. stayed out. Don't feel guilty at all. Iraq? I think we should have stayed out - not so much because I care about Iraq, but because I care about our own self-interest and because I also believe in national sovereignty and don't think we had any right to interfere in the first place. Basically, I'm very selfish and interested in what makes the most logical sense for me as a human, so I don't really see myself being all that different as a vampire. I have libertarian world view that I'd like to promote and I'm a writer, so I think I'd use my vampirism to meet worldly goals rather than to try to take over the world or anything like that. So maybe I'd run an evil mega corporation like Harlequin Books, but I wouldn't be into the whole destroy-the-world scene. Basically, I'm kind of like a mix of a Vulcan and season 2 Spike: Like a Vulcan, I'm very rational; like Spike, I like the world and I'll only fight to protect myself and maybe the person I love. Or for fun. Or for food.

Vampire entrepreneur and criminal (for the money; I don’t need no stinking crypt). When I killed, it would be quick and to the point. Nothing flashy. Very utilitarian. Kind of like I am currently with food. I eat to live. That’s it. I don’t really care too much about what the food is.


3. Take on a Slayer?

Not unless one crossed my path. I'd probably train for it just in case, but I'd avoid slayers and focus on my evil publishing company.


4. Get a soul?

No. I'm not entirely sure I have one now, so I'm not sure I'd want to go and get a new one.


5. Cursed?

I'm not entirely sure what a soul is. Guilt is an unfamiliar emotion for me. I have a very bad memory and I'm not really in-touch-with-emotions gal, so I can't honestly remember the last time I felt guilty about something. Mostly, I don't commit crimes because I'm afraid of getting caught, not because I'd be tortured with guilt if I were a criminal of some sort. If I was cursed, I think I'd probably go as crazy as Drusilla due to emotional overload. After that, I don't think I'd be much use to either side. I'd still eat, though. I'm sorry, but eating people as a vampire is no more wrong than eating beef as a human. You're just doing as nature commands.


Basically, my goal would be to live for as long as possible. That's about it.

I think I´ll start of as a minion but by the time I get an order I don´t like (which problably be pretty fast) I´ll walk away and be a loner for some time. No one tells me what to do! Maybe I´ll find a bunch of loser vampires I can be master to. If I don´t I just sire someone. But as time goes by I´ll start thinking I´m the greatest there ever was, and starting to build an empire. One day I will own the world! But it will take some time. Rome wasn´t built in a day.

First I´d concentrate on brats. God, I hate these people. Stuck up people who thinks they´re better than others. (Pretty ironic that´s exactly how I´ll turn out to be as a vamp.) But I´m not picky. I´ll kill who ever. It´s fun, at least the first hundred years.


3. Take on a Slayer?
Not at first, but as I kill people week in week out I´ll probably get bored. And who doesn´t want to be famous? And since I´m the greatest (in my mind) , I can´t let anyone else get the glory, now can I? Of course I´ll kill a slayer or ten before I´ll get dusted.

4. Get a soul?
No way. This is far better. Do whatever and don´t care is great. I get sick just thinking of how I acted as human.

5. Cursed?
Get a soul and have the conscience I used to have? I´ll kill myself in a second if I only have the guts to do it. I probably won´t so I´ll spend eternity as low as it gets, unless I can work up the courage to spend a few seconds in the sun.

Not really any I would operate alone or with a victim I sire but no more!

I would probally stalk and torutue pretty girls. Dont know why I just think it would be something I would do. Id kill all my friends and old bullies for revenge and to cut my ties.

No im not stupid nothing to be gained apart from bragging rights, but she trys to stop me she will die.

4. Get a soul?

As a person I would love to be a vampire with a soul but theres no reason why my deamon would or none I could predict.

5. Cursed?

I would seek redemption ( I know how boring?)

Oh and I wouldnt be stupid like in tv shows I would use guns to kill slayers! Why sweat when you dont have to?

I sucked at it when I tried to follow.

Why would I want to? They're like weeds. Let some other schmuck get their jollies that way.

It could be argued that I no longer have one now. I'm certainly not missing it.

No more marriage for me. So no, not cursed.
