Your Favorite Spuffy Episode?

So, I've noticed that lately everyone's 'shipping spirit has been taking a nap. 🙂 So, here's the place to discuss those episodes that always send you ablaze with Spuffy love. 😀

As for me, for some reason, School Hard is my favorite. 😀 Looking at where it first began, that look that first crossed between them. The sheer emotion. Gaahh, it just gives me happy shivers and tingles. 😀 And, of course, laughing about where they'd be in a couple of years. 😉

There are so many I love, it's hard to choose! It's a very close call, but I think overall, I'd have to go with Fool for Love. I love the flashbacks. I love how cool Spike is when they're playing pool. "You know you want to dance" is one of my favorite lines ever. I love how the episode captures his conflict. Buffy says, "It would NEVER be you," which is just more proof that you should never say never. I love his plan to trade a migraine for killing her, and he could've done it. She never would've seen it coming, but in the end he sees her in pain and is driven to comfort her. This episode seems like a turning point for Spike, where he realizes he loves her more than he wants to kill her 😉

'Dead Things', hands down. Fascinating stuff going on in that ep.

When Spike tells the First Evil, "She believes in me." That gets me every time.

I think it's a toss up between "Fool for Love" because you really feel the chemistry so strongly between Spike and Buffy in that episode... and also in "Touched" when he tells her she's the 'one'... <3

Oh, it's so close! I'd guess it's a tie for first place with Dead Things and Intervention. Dead Things is just so interesting and beautiful (and completely heart-breaking) and Intervention is when he really does prove his love. That last scene is just the sweetest thing!!

Still, Beneath You and the church scene gets mega points for it's awesomeness.

Fool for Love - I love it. The whole thing. the chemistry, the snark, everything
Checkpoint - not really a Spuffy episode but I just love that scene where she takes Joyce and Dawn to his crypt
After Life - guh! 147 days gets me every time
Showtime - the rescue 🙂

My favorites:

1. Fool for Love - love the ending.
2. Intervention - love the interaction with the BuffyBot and what he ends up doing for Buffy.
3. Touched - some great Spuffy moments.
4. Beneath You - love the church scene.
5. Life Serial - kitten poker! lol

Fool for Love was the first time I realized they were really going to have something develop between Buffy and Spike, as opposed to him just stalking her all the time.

I agree with everyone's choices of course, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned 'Something Blue"! That ep is just SO funny.

Their chemistry in 'Fool For Love' is electric and undeniable. The scene in my banner from 'Wrecked' is pretty great too, despite her harsh words ("*A* vampire got me hot. One. But he's gone. You're just... You're just convenient").

My all-time favorite Spuffy ep is 'Dead Things', but my all-time favorite scene is the church scene in 'Beneath You.' There is SO much going on in that scene....I could talk about it for days, really.

I just watched 'Afterlife' today, and I forgot how many great Spuffy scenes there are in that episode; the holding hands scene ("147 days..."), the scene in his crypt ("Every night I save you") and of course, the beautiful, beautiful scene outside where she tells him about how she thinks she was in Heaven ("I can be alone with you here"). *sigh*

I think 'Afterlife' might be my *new* favorite Spuffy-centric episode.

Honestly.....Smashed. This was the episode that got me hook not only as a Spuffy fan, but a BTVS fan. Plus it's where my name came from. 🙂 Besides that I love every single Spuffy episode, except Seeing Red for obvious reasons. Even in School Hard and Lovers Walk when they hated each other I loved them.

Every moment which involves Buffy and Spike is extremely enjoyable to watch bar what happened in "Seeing Red".

Even when they aren't together in the early seasons some of their conversations are hilarious such as in "Becoming part 2" and "Lovers walk"

Of course when they are together you get the steamy scenes plus the bickering and funny nature of their relationship is still there.

I have a question: When Buffy tells Spike "It would never be you" in Fool for Love, is she referring to that she'd never love him or that she'd never let him be the one to kill her and grant her death wish?

I haven't yet watched season 6 or 7, so I'd have to say I like Something Blue, Fool for Love and Intervention. Also, I like when he is lurking outside her house in No Place Like Home, how she calls him William and he says she has stupid hair. That made me laugh. School Hard is good too.
