Why did I join BB? I was bored and work and surfing the internet.

I finished re-watching BTVS with my sister in October and was looking up something about the show and stumbled upon this forum...after lurking around for a week or so I joined.
2. Did you look at/join any other Btvs/Ats site first?
Nope. This is it.

Not sure, I've enjoyed my time on this forum so far...I guess if I had to pick I'd say I've dorm conversations; Raiden has some pretty awesome ladies 😀

Haven't had a bad moment so far....I hope it stays that way.

Wow, this many people still talk about Buffy and Angel? Cool! 😀

I think its neat how friendly people are.

1. Why did you join BB?
I'd always liked Buffy as a kid, so when I saw that it was on Netflix, I did a complete re-watch in about a month. Unfortunately, I don't know anybody personally who also watched Buffy with whom (meh, grammar) I could hold a discussion with. Aha! A forum! But of course! It wasn't hard to find this place and after looking around, I saw that it was pretty darn active and a great-looking forum. Soooo, I joined!

2. Did you look at/join any other Btvs/Ats site first?
I think there might have been another forum I clicked on to compare to BB. Of course, there was no comparison!

3. Your best BB moment?
There have been tons of fun moments ever since I joined. Like Zobo, I was nominated for VH member of the month a month after I had joined, and like her, I also jumped around like a giddy kid.

But even better than that... just all of the people I've talked to here. Everyone's different, and I love em all for it!

4. Your worst BB moment?
There was a period of time when I didn't post very much. It wasn't because of mad feelings or arguments or anything. I just got caught up in doing other stuff. But when I logged back in after a long while, I got hooked again. BB. The best/worst drug.

5. Your first impression of BB?
Look at all the funny people who are like me! I mean, I didn't mean that I was funny as well. Just that everyone else was funny and... darn pronouns!

7. How has your perception of BB changed since you've joined?
Every day, I see it become epic-er.

Hmmm.. I don't really remember. I mean, Nix was my adopter, but I think the person I might've first talked to was HisMRS? Or Blix/This Year's Girl... or Zobo... Ack!

9. The longest time you've spent on BB in a day?
I'm pretty sure I've had the window open most of the day more than once. Hours!

10. Anything else?
Always take a banana to a party. Bananas are good. And that is all. 🙂

1. Why did you join BB?
It took me a long while to get into the Buffy and Angel shows. I had seen the atrocious movie version with Kristy Swanson and wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with the series when it premiered.
My kid bro felt the same way, but his girlfriend convinced him to watch a few eppies, and he was hooked. He in turn convinced me to give the show a chance.
At first I watched sporadically, taking in an episode here and there, then going entire weeks without watching it. When I came back to it, it was around the time of "Becoming parts 1 and 2", and I couldn't understand a thing because I hadn't been watching. But what really finally hooked me into watching the series regularly was the episode "Superstar". Again I had been only watching sporadically, and came back right on THAT episode, and I saw the opening credits and thinking "What the eff is going on? Who the hell is THIS guy? Why is he hogging the credits??? Is Buffy dead or something?? So I decided I didn't wanna be confused anymore and came online to look for a place where I could get some Buffy info, and get everything straight so that I could begin buying up the season DVDs and start the show fresh from the beginning. This website was actually the second Buffy-centric site I checked. It looked well-kept, and chock full of forums, unlike the rather skeletal remains of the first site I came upon. This place had everything I needed, and thus I stayed. Didn't feel the need to look at any other sites. The rest, as they say, is history.......

See above.

3. Your best BB moment?
Being asked to join the Staff. A validating BB honor if ever there were any (which there are. 😛) A close second would be the three *Storyteller* awards I've won over the years on the Buffies for my fic-writing. They liked me...they really liked me....!

4. Your worst BB moment?
There have been minor episodes of ass-hattery on this site over the years, but that whole nonsense last year where members went to war with us takes the absolute cake. It goes down in the annals of BB history as a very nasty business.

5. Your first impression of BB?
What an excellent array of info! I love it! It took me a few days to find that the members here were a hoot as well.

6. Your impression of BB now?
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!! Nooooo, I kid, I kid. 😛

7. How has your perception of BB changed since you've joined?
No perception of anything in life is ever the same as your first encounter. But in the case of this site....well....it's like a favorite leather jacket. No matter how long you've had it, it still looks great. It's a part of you...your persona. You couldn't bear to part with it. I'm sure that only makes sense to me.......😛

8. The first person on BB you remember talking to longer than just answering a question to?
Well, this person hasn't been a member for several years now, but Jacklyn became my BB guide and good friend during my rookie weeks as a BBer. No finer human being exists.

9. Anything else?
Well I say......**puts on a pair of dark shades**.......BB rocks.

I have been a huge fan of Buffy for as long as I can remember and so when I was pointed in this direction by Amy (Xaphania) I just had to sign up.

2. Did you look at/join any other Btvs/Ats site first?
i think I have joined other BtVS sites in the past though none really memorable

3. Your best BB moment?
Having only been here a short while, I havent built up many moments, though watching everyones excited reactions in the chat room tonight over the awards is certainly memorable! Even before I have spoken to anyone I am getting to see what people are like (and you all seem great!) plus, it is also a memorable moment as I felt so lost! 😀

4. Your worst BB moment?
No worst moment 🙂

5. Your first impression of BB?
BB seems very large and an easy place to get lost in, though everyone seems friendly - just looking forward to meeting some people

6. Your impression of BB now?
Same as above as tonight is the first real time Ive explored the site 😀

7. How has your perception of BB changed since you've joined?
Maybe I should have waited until after my first real day here before answering these questions!!! 😀

Xaphania, though I dont know if she counts as I knew her before meeting her on the site.

I think Ive been logged in for nearly 2 hours tonight and tonight is my first night!
