"Your Shirt..."

On first watch I was like "oh [insert rude word here] Willow's been shot" then there's the twist that it isn't Willow that got hit at all and I was stunned. Now whenever I watch it, it leaves me cold. Like icy-dread-type cold. I have only ever watched it a couple of times because with all the events of that episode and Dark Willow, I don't like watching season 6 much. I love the season but it isn't the fun happy, shiny Buffy the Vampire Slayer that I like to think about.

Awesome line, great way to go out. It's one of those chilling lines that you really remember. It was a sad death, but an awesome one as well.

yes, everytime. I remember when I first saw it, my eyes were glued to the screen for about 5 seconds before I realised what had actually happened. Such a chilling sad moment.

Yeah, it was heart breaking, made all the more potent by alyson hannigans, awesome facial expressions and acting skills 🙂

Well, not from the line itself, but from the moment in general. When Warren comes walking in with the gun, my heart, like, speeds up. It's a bit like with The Good, the Bad and the Ugly shortly before they
find the graveyard and Ennio Morricone's epic 'Ecstasy of Gold' starts.
My heart starts racing because somehow I'm always so nervous before the scene.

Goddamn, you make me wanna watch season 6 😀 But I'm currently at season 4 and I'm watching Angel's first season parallel and also Firefly with a friend 😱 This could take a while... Well, at least then it's even more awesome when I watch season 6 😀

That line is definitely heartbreaking. The fact that Tara doesn't even realize what happened to her and then she's gone? Pure Joss. It's almost as sad as when
Wash gets impaled in "Serenity".

Okay - you know a line has impact when I see it as a heading and immediately tear up 🙁
Such a horrifically sad scene... I sobbed when I first saw it. I can't watch the 'previously, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer' bits in S6/7 because of how often they show that scene and it bums me out 🙁

I absolutely empathise with Willow in this scene. To the point that I don't think I will ever be able to watch that arc ever again. Everything about it gives me chills but at the same time, at least Tara didn't suffer. Her last moment she was in a room where she felt happy surrounded by people she loved, and in the company of her soul mate.

It's not exactly the line that feels like a kick in the chest to me, but the way Amber Benson delivered it.

You're absolutely right. I don't think it's the line itself, so much as the confused look on Amber's face as she says the line, then immediately collapses. She never even realized what happened to her, and it is absolutely heartbreaking. I was never a huge fan of Tara, but I can never watch this scene without sobbing as if my heart is breaking because it's sooooo sad and Alyson makes you feel her pain as Willow sobs over Tara's body.

I didn't get to experience that twist because I watched Two to Go randomly one day before I'd seen season 6...and when I looked at the info and saw, "Willow is still reeling from Tara's death...." I just stared at my television in horror. I really wish that I'd had the chance to see that episode without knowing 🙁 but yes that line is great.

Of course!

YES. It's weird though. I've seen the episode countless times, and every single time Tara get's shot, it still shatters my heart all the same, and still takes me by the same surprise it took me by 4 years ago when I watched it the first time.

Ugh yeah I hate when they do that! lol. Just like how many times do I have to watch Maggie Walsh get impaled? That's not fun to watch.

But on topic..I was spoiled about the death, I just didn't know how it was going to happen. I can't imagine what it would be like to see that completely unexpected. Crazyyyy

Im more intrested in Willows actions after the event. She gets so self involed so wraped in the hate and anger she is consumed and forgets Tara. She just leaves her body she dint even tell Xander in the front yard with him on the phone

Great Media is seeing something and always takeing something new from it seeing it in a new light and a new angle the last 5 eps of S5 are like that

I actually really hate this ep 🙁 It's really a shame that it had to end like this.. They were so happy together and such a cute couple. When I saw this one I was like - noooo you gotta be kidding me!? This can't just happen!?
My eyes were all teary and I don't even wanna watch it again!

This episode is what 'sadness' stands for!

I have wrote, thought, wondered about other posabiltys or whats else happend or could have happen I explored this one scene over and over frame by frame. Read all the versions of the scripts.

This one event defined me as a fan of Buffy I have questions probed deeper into Seeing Red and Villains. wrote alternate versions of the history talked about what happenes afterwords.

I come back to this one moment over and over almost everyday as Im constantly reminded of it when I write

Its so powerful what Willow becomes because of theses actions is very fun to write about. She is shattered and how do you pick these peices back up?

Best eps of television ever. IMO
