question in the episode YOUR WELCOME was cordelia still a half-demon or did she lose all of her powers considering it was just a physical astroprojection
 
First of, this was a season five episode, not season four (Just settin' you straight 🙂 )

And it was really never obvious, though I presume she had no powers.
 
Yes, she still had her powers. If the fact that she claimed a vision woke her up didn't prove then the fact that later on in the season where Angel reveals that when she kissed him she passed on the power of the visions proves it.
I'm not sure whether she was still half-demon, but she definitely still had the visions
 
Oh. I totally forgot about that. *Hits head* Oh well, then she COULD have still been demonic =/
 
I presume she was I mean did we ever get any reason to believe she wasn't half demon anymore?
 
I'm assuming that she still is half demon. If she wasnt then the vision she had would of probably killed her and blew her brain out..but then again she was already dead..................
 
Was she dead? I got the impression she was alive when she got the vision? A vegetable definitely, but still alive.
 
wELL....IDK. i ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS DEAD FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE EP. bUT MAYBE A NEAR DEATH VEGGIE! LOL

Me Too!!! I would have loved to see her and Xander together now, when they had both grown up so much
Solid Cordy was still half demon. It depends on the whether the solid astral Cordy was too. I'd assume so.
 
This is my crazy interpretation, but I never saw her as an astal in 'You're Welcome'. I think she was solid, alive, heart-beating awake. But just for that time. Sort of like an temporary altered timeline. Just so she could set Angel back on track. I mean she did say 'the powers owed me one and I didn't waste it'. And she's have to be there completely and non-astral for the visions to be able to transfer to Angel with a kiss, wouldn't she?

Spike was able to touch things when he was incorporeal if he concentrated really hard so maybe something similar like that was going on with Cordelia. I think we were supposed to see her as an astral projection
 
But then why did the Doctors call saying she'd woken up? And they went shopping for clothes. And she was shown to actually be shocked awake even though there was no one but us to see her. I don't think she ever actually was awake obviously because of what is said at the end ('she never woke up...') but I don't think she was going astral on us. I can't really explain my thoughts in words haha...

At the start of the ep when wes and angel go to pick her up at the hospital cordy is waiting for them in the room and she draws the curtain on somebody she describes as a vegetable...that was HER body, David Greenwalt said it in the commentary so I don't think it was a 100% authentic cordy that we got to see with the gang
 
cordy was dead at the begining am i the only one that remembers the body in the room with her when angel and wes went to see her and she covered it by pulling the curtain round and she said "yeah she's not loking so good?" we didnt see the body it could have been her body
 
Damn! I totally missed that! And/or forgotten about it! Heck, you people are good. Haha. Hmm...that adds new layerness to it all doesn't it? Because I know Spike was able to touch things if he really concentrated, but Cordy just did it automatically.....so she was defintely different from astral and/or ghost. Hmmm....
 
I don't think the astral Cordy was part demon, cuz remember when Spike got the phony vision message from Lyndsay and bit her, he said she didn't taste demonic! And I think Cordy was still a vegetable throughout the episode, but the powers knew she'd die soon, so they let her do the astral thing before it was too late. Remember when she first wakes up and she closes the blind on that other girls body lying in the hospital bed, and says : "That girl's in rough shape", I think that body was actually Cordy's physical being.
