The Chosen
Time is all around
Were I woman, which I obviously am not, I don't think I'd ever be able to have an abortion, unless the pregnancy was caused by horrific circumstances or my life was in danger.
With that being said, I do think that, as a male, I'd have an equally hard time casting a ballot in favor of outlawing abortion. I don't think it's morally correct to tell someone what they can or can't do with their own bodies, even if another life may potentially* be growing inside. I agree with previous posters that abortion is a medical decision that is not to be legislated. (*I personally am not sure when I believe life starts, so once I do look into that enough to form a decision my opinion might change! Who knows?)
I also completely empathize with women who do decide to abort. I can't even begin to imagine just how tough of a decision that would have to be.
