Anti-Willow Group

I mean, to me at least, i wasn't that interested in her in the last few seasons. Its hard to put my finger on exactly why i was bored by her. But in the last few seasons compared to 1-3 i 'thought' she was just more bitchy and full of herself, triangle or tabula rasa are good examples. But she also was in general.(in fact triangle is an Excellent example of what i dislike about her)

I actually liked the fact that Willow got more confident. I'll admit that at times she got a little to confident, but I can't say I blame her. In the early episodes she wasn't very confident at all. She was awkward and didn't really know how to stand up for herself or didn't really have any kind of power. Then she finally found something, in magic, and SOMEONE, in Tara, who is really good for her and that she is really good at. She had never had that feeling before, and yes it kinda of went to her head, but after Dark Willow she did an extremely good job at controling it. And who hasn't had something they where really good at go to their head? She had to go through the experiences that she did in order to figure out how to do control her power and focus her skills so she uses them in a healthy way, just like eveyone has to in their lives.

BillyIdolWannaB agrees: I actually agree with your points. I guess some people just relate more to willow. Me personally, i relate to spike, but tbh, kennedy is the only character i truely dislike. 🙂

I can relate to Spike to. In fact next to Willow, he is my favorite character of the entire series. I don't feel like I got to know Kennedy enough to really say that I dislike her. However, no one will ever be as cute and sweet together than Willow and Tara where.

I noticed the thing said about Willow in s6 and s7 and i agree, so since they've been done i'll do s5.
This is the season i started disliking her. I dont think she suited her new cocky attitude at all.
And Triangle was when she bugged me most. Apart from her constant annoyingness, the way she steals the stuff from the Magic Box and then has the cheek to treat Anya like she's an idiot for not liking what she's doing. Then, she makes the till(or.... cash register) dissapear, risking GILES money, and then laughing it off like its nothing, and actally insults Anya again.
Then in the car she tries to pass the blame onto Anya for making Olaf appear. THEN, the following words exit Willows mouth... ''Well Giles can be an idiot, y'know, the smart kind, but still an idiot'', and to me, Willows just described herself there. Pot, kettle, black!
Then, just because Anya mentioned Willows stealing, Willow gets annoyed and says ''your so rude'' followed by some cheek.
And one more thing, Giles shop was wrecked thanks to Willow, and im guessing she didnt pay for it.

Anyway, after this ep, she never gave me a reason to like her again. She got a bit too big for her boots.

This is the post right? Let me know if it isn't.

I'll respond to it anyway. I think you are putting to much of the blame on Willow here. I think Willow was right when she said that it was Anya's fault Olaf appeared. When Willow was trying to do the spell, Anya was still arguing with her rather than waiting until she was done and so the spell went wrong. Had Anya waited and the spell still went wrong, I think you would have a case, but Anya just wouldn't let well enough alone.

Willow and Anya in this episode where both acting very stupidly. Anya because she thought, for some stupid reason, that Willow was going to steal Xander away from her, even though Willow is a lesbian. Willow was being very overprotective of Xander because, for some stupid reason, she didn't trust Anya. The point is they both played a role and share the blame.

As for the stealing, I am not so sure that Giles would have been against Willow doing that or that he wouldn't allow her to use the supplies. It was a simple spell and I think Giles would agree it would help Buffy. Because of that I think Giles would have let her use the supplies for free. I could be wrong of course, but that was how I took it.

:) yeah 19, thats the one. Also 26 too, but i admit for 26 i was being very harsh, il put it down to her inexperience at that time. In 19 and 26 i came across like i dislike her more than i actually do, but i still agree wit them :)
But Anya was only being annoying and talking during the spell because a) willow stole the stuff b) was being arrogant and c) willow knows what Anyas like, so she should have took the spell elsewhere. When you really look at it, Anya didn't do anything wrong. She was happily working away till Willow showed up. I cant even remember now if the spell was important in the first place.

Lol, kk. I was just checking because there was no name on the post.
The spell was a simple ball of light spell. So Buffy could use have light when a whole bunch of Vamps got near her at night or if she found a nest of them. She could use it and there would be instant sun light and kill them that way.

Both Anya and Willow where being arrogant. The whole fight was about and started over Xander and neither was willing to give up. The stealing thing was Anya's excuse to continue it even after Xander left. Anya's arrogants that Willow was going to steal Xander away, is what propeled her to continue the fight. The point is that even though Anya said she was mad because she was stealing stuff from the magic box, it was really over her jealousy of how close Willow was to Xander.

Willow is no different. She was getting jealous that Anya was getting so close to her oldest and dearest friend. She didn't think Anya was good enough for him. You are absolutly right when you say that Willow could have taken the spell else where. Understand that I'm not excusing anything that Willow did, but I don't think she deserves all the blame. Both women played a part and both were arrogant about each others relationship to Xander and that is what caused all the trouble.

I love Willow, but I don't like some episodes in s3, because her and Xander look terrible together, but other than that I love Willow.

Willow absolutely gets on my nerves throughout the entire show. I felt like they never knew what to do with her. Okay, she is computer geek, now she's a witch, now's she a lesbian witch, now she is Dark Willow with veins on her face, now she is scared Willow who worries that if she sneezes she might turn into Dark Willow, to Goddess.. it was tiring to say the least.

Willow is horrible in s6. I loved when Tara dumped her in Tabula rasa. Tara was too good for her(as was Oz)
Kennedys more Willows level, they were perfect for each other 🙂

lol, that made me chuckle!
There's nothing i dislike about Willow, except when she and Xander were flirting, and i did use to think she blabbed too much about random crap!

haha, but they all do that i suppose.
Willow is a great character, especially when she becomes a powerful Wicca. 🙂

They only thing I disliked about Willow was how she had that cutesy way of saying things sometimes... where her voice would get kind of airy and slightly higher pitched. Bugs me in real life when people do that, bugs me just as much when Willow does it.

Lol i hated that too.
I don't mind the character, but Hannigan just annoys me so much with her facial expressions and voice, really ended up being the worst person in the show minus Dawn.

Don't get the hate for Willow. I liked her more during high school when she had a great relationship with Buffy and Xander and she was so innocent. During the later seasons she was separated from Buffy and Xander and because i wasn't invested in Tillow i didn't enjoy her as much.

I liked her for the first few seasons, it's when she became a witch i started to dislike her a bit but its more Alyson that i do not like overall with her performances in How I Met Your Mother.

I love Willow!!! Granted she did change a lot during the series. Some points for better and some points for the worse. She was the best during the first 2 seasons. Once she got With Tara, many people could relate with the string of emotions she was going through. I think that the one thing I didn't like about Willow very much is how she abused the magicks and because this super witch. Yeah I did like evil Willow(she was bad-ass!). However, she shouldn't have let it get that far. I understand why someone wouldn't like her...but come on! look at that innocent face of hers and that smile! You can't help but love her 🙂

Never had a problem with Alyson myself. I saw an interview someone posted on this board and she seemed a really nice person. I'am not a fan of her in "How I Met Your Mother" though either. I tried watching it and it just didn't make me laugh. She'll always be Willow to me.
