What would Buffy do?

I bought the book' What Would Buffy Do'? by Jana Reiss yesterday. It is the best book ever, I couldnt put it down, it is brilliant and soooo interesting. I recomend it to all Buffy fans, it is awesome.

Watchers Guide 3

Anyone know if they are gonna make a watchers guide 3? the first two volumes were the best tome to Buffy ever written!

yeah its being released this month.🙂
you can order it at Amazon.😀

We don't get it here in Canada until July, but I agree they are just AWESOME! I have volumes I and II.

Could someone scan a page or two just so I can see what they're like. I've seen one in WH Smiths once but I think they're kinda rare in my area so I wanna know what they're like. Thanks for any help.

i was up town yesterday looking for it, i asked in whsmiths, but they hadnt heard of it, i went to webberleys, they had some in but sold out that morning so i ordered my from their and wil be a couple of days. but yeah like ashan said they are kinda rare at the mo.

Has anyone ever read the four book series, The Lost Slayer? I thought the story was pretty amazing and would make for a great episode. Any other thoughts?

In a way, yes, but it is also a little darker and a little more harsh. If you can believe it, even harsher than the wish. And, since it takes place in the future, it's fun to see what would have become if the characters had come into contact with Buffy, only to be abandoned by her....

Slayer_Angel- Can I please have it back 😉

Awesome review! Makes me wanna go home and read it again. I would love to see that book come to life.

One of the parts I liked the best was when Buffy was inprisoned with the new slayer who tries to kill her. And the fact that Faith has the good reputation and Buffy is the rogue.

It's definitely worth it. Of all the Buffy books I've read its my favorite. I would have liked "The Book of Fours" better, but honestly it was a bit confusing.

I have to agree that it definitely had some quality to, especially considering that it was a media tie in. Not that I have anything against these, or even think that they are sub-standard in quality, it's just that more often than not, I feel like the characters are off mark or out of character. Chris Golden has a real knack for the Buffyverse.

As a side note, does anyone else think that Razor and his gang (Bargaining) seem to resemble the Kakchiquels (sp?) from the series? What with the bat symbol and all?

The Lost Slayer book went down very well in the Pointy household. I've always been a sucker for these alternate timeline stories. I have to agree with previous posters that Christopher Golden is (with Nancy Holden) one of the best Buffyverse book scribes.

Just something to ponder...who would be a more powerful vampire king/queen? Willow or Giles? Just asking because of the end of Season 6.

Willow would be the more powerful of the two, but Giles is the tactition-he would very likely have made it farther than Willow would because he just has better plans 😀

Yeah as in Season Six, Willow isn't really much on thinking before acting. I love how the part of Giles that is leftover, wants Buffy to join him.
