This Euro championships has been great so far. Holland, Sweden, Portugal.
Now Croatias beating Germany 2-0. It will be an underdog this year.
 
Well its been a bad Euro for the 'Giants of europe' France, Germany and Italy are now in big trouble and England didnt make it.

The more the big teams fail the loss annoyed I am that England didnt quialfy.

And is it just me or is annoucing that Big Phil is leaving Portugaul for Chelsa during the Euro a really bad time?

It is. But it´s not half as bad as then it´s done with a clubcoach. And I think it was Chelsea who told the news. Phil himself always said he wouldn´t discuss his future until after the tournament. But I might have heard wrong.

Todays matches will be interesting to say the least.
 
Who's playing today? Italy against Romania and France against the Netherlands? And if that's the case, it's gonna be a hpot topic in my house, with all the French and Dutch people around.

Wow that a game. Netherland is fantastic. 7-1 against the two finalists of the last world cup is nothing but amazing. And now both Italy and France can miss the knock-out-stages. Romania isn´t bad and Netherlands will let a lot of the reserves play. Good times.

Sneijder, what a player. I´ve liked him for a couple of years but now I´m in love. Just amazing. And with van Basten (the coach) being my childhood hero it can´t get much better.
 
Holland are amazing. they got such a strong attack.
Hey Kinslayer, Whats your Goal of the Tournament so far? Is it Snijder's?
I still think Ibrahimovic.
 
First, I haven´t seen all the goals so I might have missed some good ones. I do love Sneijders goal and it is fantastic, but no it don´t get my vote. I actually think even Robbens goal may get my vote before that one. I know it´s a mistake by Coupet but still, so out of the blue. But I think I´m with you on this one. But it´s not like I´m biased or anything...

Spain wont win. I bet Sweden beat them tomorrow. Holland or, i still think germany.
 
just a quick side note:

i dont know how many of you have sirius satellite radio (i do and its the best investment ive ever made), but if you do, they are playing the uefa2008 on 3 different channels!

if memory serves me, the channels are 121, 125 and 181. dont quote me on that. i have them programmed in.

im loving the matches so far!!!!!
 
Italy and France will be out now 😀 Also it will never happen but if Germany lose they could be out 😀

Spain playing today they should beat sweeden I predict 3-1.

At the moment it feels like a little bit of a miracle if we take any points and especially a win. Spain has way better players than us, we have half our squad injured in one way or another. But as it´s not an individual sport so we still have a chance. And the hope´s always there before the match starts. Spains defence didn´t look that good against Russia som maybe, maybe. On the other hand our defence will probably be tested way more this time. My guess is 2-0 to Spain.

And nothing else than a victory for Russia against Greece would surprise me big time.
 
We were discussing thsi yesterday at my house but no one could give me a definite answer

Now Oranje (The Netherlands) are definitely in the next round. But what would happen if Romania lost against the Netherlands and Italy and France played draw? Who would go to the next round. If it's 0:0 and Romania doesn't score at all, the three of them even would have the same amount of goals.
 
If they have the same amount of goals, they will have to go to panelties to get a winner. That's what I've heard. This would happen right after the game.
 
Yeah but what about Romania? The game is Italy France, but Romania would need to get an equal chance.
 
Romania would still have 2 points if they lost against the Netherlands, Italy and France would both have 3 points, so there is no need to give Romania another chance because they would have the least points anyway
