Faith - A Victim or Victimizer?

Accidentally killing one person while going about your nightly business of saving the world, well, that's not a crime. That's unfortunate, but it shouldn't be a crime.

I think what Faith has done IS a crime. As I see it, she didn't consider the Slayer's job a duty of saving the innocent and the world from evil. She thought that it was real FUN. Killing vampires and demons was all just pure pleasure for her. Don't you guys remember the part when she was asking Buffy whether she enjoyed killing the demonic beings? I think this is the core of the problem. She never really considered her job something that must be done, something that is useful and necessary. She just thought that it was FUN. Also, she got absorbed by her power. She really enjoyed being superior thanks to her 'Chosen One - condition'. She never learned to be responsible and really conscious of what all this power should take from a human being. She was not a real, devoted Slayer because she was not prepared to get that much power. Therefore 'accidentally killing one person while saving the world' cannot be an excuse according to me. Since she never took her duty serious that's just not a realy excuse.

I think faith was a victim, and was proud of the way she grew up throughout the series on both programs and think she did well to overcome her problems/upbringing eventually, even if she made a lot of mistakes doing so
