Favorite Forgotten Movies

It's three o'clock in the morning. You can't sleep, so you trundle downstairs in your fuzzy slippers and flop into the Laz-E-Boy. You turn on the tv and flip channels for several minutes. You find yourself wondering how many people actually pick up the phone and order the "Liquid Leather Repair Kit", which can fix the knife-holes in their green leather couches or the "Portable Button Machine", which can attach buttons to your clothes without even having to take them off.
Suddenly, you come across an old movie. You love this movie!! You forgot this movie even existed, but you love this movie!

What movie is it? It can be campy, or a classic, any type of movie at all. But not one that you own on tape or DVD - gotta be one that just pops up on tv and makes you giddy with geeker excitement because you've forgotten all about it!

Ahh. I am so glad you decided to start it....Your musical one did great, I think we all like that one too!

My list could go on and on for a very long time, so for starters I will say...Mannequin.
 
lol! Hmm I think I've forgotten about most of the movies that bring that up in me. But I'd probably have to go with Toys with Robin Williams. Its the only one I could think of sense I just saw that it was on HBO and it reminded me of being really little lol.

Oh also Encino Man! With Brandon Frasier that one is great, but I never see it except for those rare times that its on TV.

WOW.....i love brendan fraser...hes my alltime favorite actor!! hes so sexy......i loved encino man...and in the army now......BIODOME....that was a great one...well still is a GREAT one!
 
Hmmm...Well Grease, The Outsiders...I dunno...I like shows...Not movies...Lol

Hmm... I think that a movie that i love to see when it's on, but never think about otherwise is "The Goonies", also i like to watch "Better off Dead" when it's on (along with any other John Cusak movies from the 80's).

I was about to say "The Outsiders" and "The Breakfast Club" too. One I love seeing on tv is "Stand By Me"
 
i'm mostly a show girl myself! but i used to be a movie girl.. i have watched movies like 30 times in a row! i'm not kidding, when i was 11 or 12 i saw the same flick 36times in 14 days, and that was all i watched! and it was 3 ninja's knuckle up! the 3 NINJAS are classics to me! all three flicks, so that would prob be it 😉

LD, Flash Gordon? That's a surprise title for me. Never seen it-will look into it. Sorry for the theme song thing.........

Polexia - you are too much! Your posts kill me - it somehow seems oddly fitting that you love 3 Ninjas! I need to get a little minuature polexia to carry around in my pocket so I can take it out whenever I need cheering up. 😀

Chas - I can't believe you've never seen Flash Gordon! Best cheesy B-Movie ever!!! It's like a bomb went off in the Crayola factory - everything in that flick is bright and a different color!

Weekend at Bernies rocks! I love the scene where he falls off the back of the boat and keeps bonking into the buoys. Hehehe.
 
I remember and love all the films you've mentioned! Especially Goonies and Howard the Duck!

What about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? 😀
 
The most underestimated film in history "Strange Days". Oh yeah...and Thirteenth Warrior.
