Favorite horror movies?

i can't remember the story, it was a few years ago i saw it,

em , it has subtitles, i think, and this woman thinks there's someone who's broke into her house, and while she's in it she's in the attic trying to hide, and i think her Husband is missing too.
Anyway at the end of it,she ends up in a sewer. there's young boys about 7/8 and they say they know how to get out , and they pretend there helping her find a way out when they're the ones who kidnapped the husband, anyways they end up killing the woman and her Husband, then it shows them going off to school,

it sounds crap, but it's actually quite scary, until you find out it is kids. lol

Michael Haneke is awesome, I prefer the original though they are identical movies. When I'm feeling lazy I'll watch the Naomi Watts version.
 
Anyone like wrong turn 2?
I thought it was ok,though not as good as the first one.
I liked prom night,one of the very few slasher/horror/teenagers getting hacked into various sized pieces films i actually enjoyed watching.Oh and valentine with
DB🙂
 
ah i hate Prom night. it's so crap, i thought it was gonna be better ;(.

yeah i've saw Wrong Turn 2, it's so much gorier thn the first one.
i think i laughed half way through it. LOL
 
To my original list of REAL horror stars (Lugosi, Karloff, and Chaney) I should have added Price, Lorre, and with out doubt, the silent giant, Tor Johnson, who never even needed dialogue to terrify an audience.

A girl in uni asked "what exactly is a horror movie?"

since we all define it diffrently, some are comedies, sci-fi, more action-y etc dang etc.

So i guess it boils down to what my lecturer replied -

"Whatever scares you."

So now "Wizard of Oz" is a horror cause it scared the girl in my class.

Okay so its not a horror to us, but it is to her.

And horror dont scare me, my mind scares me. (sw)

I don't know. The flying monkey's to this day give me the willies.
 
I'm not a big fan of horror movies, but my favorites are Army of Darkness and Alien. Neither are pure horror movies, which is probably why I like them.
 
Yep Army of Darkness is more Action/Adventure but since its a part of the Evil Dead series its classed as horror, (more a Jason and the Argonauts type)

Alien/s is more sci-fi to me, but ive heard it called "haunted house in outer space" for how claustrophobic it is.

I love ROb Zombie so up till it goes into remake mode i like the halloween *gg* re-imagining

Darkness Falls - i listened to greenday on a cdplayer in the cinema a bit... twas boring but i keep trying to enjoy it

Soul S - meh

which house on haunted hill? i like original and the 2 remakes.... bloodier than i remember they were 🙂

TCM - i like them all, especially when leatherface dressed up as a woman... (which remake, there was 2... TCM-Beginning was pretty okay, the earlier remake wasnt... still nothing to the original, even the funny sequels are better than any of the remakes... but y'all can tell i like a laugh in my horrors)

Wrong Turn was another people in the woods chased by inbreeds film, at least in 2 it was a rip of a reality show.... and some human BBQ!
