Favourite LGBT character on a tv show?

Willow was my absolute favorite for so long, and Tara of course. I still love both of them, but when I was younger gay relationships really interested me because it was so rare to see them on television and I've always been drawn to things that are deemed "taboo" for a reason...I may never know. They also happen to be two really amazing characters, the fact that they were in a relationship just drew me in.

I also love Marc from Ugly Betty. Haha he was totally mean to Betty at times but he turns out to be a pretty nice guy. Oh and Justin, I love Justin. I'm convinced that if my little sister were a boy and gay, she would be Justin.

I'm also a firm believer in Bernie. I believe in them. They are a couple and none of you can convince me that they're not.

Besides Willow & Tara, I will ALWAYS be a huge fan of QAF & the character of Justin Taylor is my favorite character from that show (played by Randy Harrison) as well as Emmett Honeycutt (Peter Paige) & Brian Kinney (Gale Harold).
 
Nolan Ross from Revenge at the moment. His dress sense and one liners and facial expressions are just perfect. I think it can be hard for TV shows to really reflect bisexuality in the same light as other orientations, not something I've seen done well anyway. Revenge got it spot on though I think.

Jack McPhee (Dawson's Creek)
Emily Fitch (Skins)
Maxxie Oliver (Skins)
Alex Kelly (The OC)
Callie Torres (Grey's Anatomy)

Extra points for Alex and Callie, as both are presented as bisexual (still a rarity on televsion)

Alrighty, I just finished watching the latest episode of Supernatural.

Loras Tyrell on Game of Thrones, by a freaking mile. While I think I initially answered Renly Baratheon to this question, I'm changing it. Renly is cool, and he would have made a good king, but Loras, in both the books and the T.V. series, just kills it. He's not a stereotype at all, which is still something we see when it comes to gay characters all the time on T.V. and in movies, and he's probably the best swordsman in the series beyond Jaime Lannister.

And as the series progresses, he just gets cooler and cooler.
 
Has nobody mentioned David Fisher from Six Feet Under yet? If not, everyone is missing out on one of the best depictions of cognitive dissonance and closeted homosexuality.

I also liked Jack from Dawson's Creek. He had an interesting character evolution over the series.
 
There was also Larry on the Buffy series. Considering the proportions of LBGT in the general population and the proportions on the show, they are adequately represented on Buffy.
