Do we have one?

Sorry if we do, and I'm stepping on anyone's toes.

I used to hate, honestly HATE Glee. Now I love it. I love Kurt and I love Emma.

(And I'd do bad things to Schuester...but that's for another thread).

Anyway, if we don't have one, speak! Tell me about how fricking hot Will Schuester is!

Kurt is the only reason I can't stop watching!
I love Damien well I mean he isn't on there yet but he is coming this season so I can't contain my excitement for that. It will keep me watching.

I think we have Glee thread around here somewhere, but I think it stopped being active when S2 finished.

Honestly, I can't say I can't wait for Glee. Last year, this time, my head was rolling from excitement. Now, I'm cold as a fish.

PrincessBuffy16 With all the rumors and stuff going around, I have no idea how to feel about this upcoming season at all.

I watch Glee but I can't say that I am much of a fan or invested in any way. However, I watched the Glee Project this Summer and I love Damian, he is a little dote so I am really looking forward to see how he does on the show. Particularly how Brittany handles his accent 😀

I love Damien so much and am so glad to see someone else saw him on Glee Project. He really is the only reason I am excited and lol yes Brittany and his accent will be hilarious. He is so adorable and his accent I love how he even sings with it. Sometimes when people have different accents and they sing they loose it but it is good he didn't.

I also loved Hannah and Cameron. I am looking forward to seeing Samuel as well and how he is going to be.

So Chord isn't coming back? I am confused because one minute he is leaving the next he is coming back I don't know what to think about this anymore.

I watched "The Glee" project and was SO excited for it every week. But honestly, I'm not that amped for the new season of "Glee" itself. I don't know... I think maybe I got burnt out. Plus the fact that Season 2 sucked royal butt didn't help, either.

I approach this carefully...

I used to LOVE Glee when it first started. I thought it was fantastic. Why? Because it was. It had interesting plots and amazing musical numbers. The cast were all great and I didn't have many bad words to say about it.

What happened?

Season 2 started, that's what happened and the fans! The fans are the people ruining this show. The writers are listening to them when they shouldn't. Joss Whedon said that he gave the audience what they needed, not what they wanted. Why don't the Glee writers do that? As much as I kind of like Brittanna...we didn't need that! We don't need so many gay characters and we don't need them bending to our every shipping wish.

Not to mention they are singing too much mainstream now. I used to love it when we'd get a random mainstream song thrown in there, it was a nice change. But the older numbers are the ones that shone. The music is just becoming...I don't know, I just don't like it as much.

However, I am still watching Glee. I won't ever give up on it. I was kind of won back with the concert movie. I cried and I thought the singing was fantastic! I'm hoping the new Glee season will be better than season two.

Sav, you think like me. I love it.

Yeah... this is exactly why I can't get through Season 2... though there are many songs I'm happy that they've done (for some reason, though, the only one I can think of is "What I Did For Love" which isn't exactly mainstream...)

Not overly excited but I'll definitely watch. On the other hand I can't say that I'm excited for any show to restart. I'm nowhere near hearing/reading 25% of the rumours but some of what I've heard give me hope. I haven't watched The Glee project so I got no idea who Damien is but you guys make me curious.

I like Quinn's new hairstyle but I hope it won't come with a bitchy attitude.

Joss Whedon said that he gave the audience what they needed, not what they wanted.
Yet we got loads and loads of complaints about things in the show. Fans as a whole can never be pleased. Besides, Spuffy?

I loved the first 13 episodes of season 1. Those were excellent. The second half of the season didn't measure up to that standard, but was still entertaining.

I lost interest when season 2 started. It was boring, the characters were more annoying than ever, and my favorite character (Quinn) regressed so much...

Yeah, I stopped watching. Though I may check out some of season 3 on mute just to see Quinn's hair.

I'm excited to watch the new season, those promos look good. I love Glee, but I don't take it too seriously (don't participate in fan forums and such) so I'm not disappointed when there are weak episodes. I just like the music and the overall plot etc etc. I'm easy to please when it comes to this show I guess LOL! 🙂

I don't like Quinn's new hair. I like the cut, but I don't like the pink in it. It just seems soooo OOC for her. She's always been the girl-next-door type and I was weirded out by the pink in it. Seems like Quinn's trying to go punk, which doesn't fit with her at all, to me.

It's a huge change yes but even if it feels weird to start with I can deal with it for now. Teenagers to me seem to go through the stage of "I don't want to stand out and be different, I want to fit in." as well as doing some "rebelling" one way or another, big or small. The latter one seeming to fit Quinn. The reason can be something totally different though.

I have a feeling it won't last very long for Quinn but we'll see.

Certainly better than last week's. But strangely, not enough music for me. There were only 3 songs, right? No group numbers and no recent songs. I'm getting a little tired of what they're doing with Quinn. I mean, I understand that she's going through a lot, totally understandable and I WANT to see that. But she starts showing vulnerability, we like her and then they do something that makes us hate her again. She is still one of my favorite characters though.

So far, I am not super impressed with the season. I think 3.02 was really good, bringing back Idina Menzel was so much fun to see! Especially since it looks like she's gonna be a recurring guest star. The drama in this episode was amazing, and Puck had me crying.

But I'm ready for some more music!

It seems almost as if from what I've seen people who enjoyed season two aren't liking season three as much and people who really didn't like season two are loving season three. I have fallen in love with the show again, I was going to stop watching and they changed my mind. The show has come into a new format and they leave you at cliffhangers without wrapping up things after an episode like they did a lot with season two (and no one can deny that because the creators admit it.)

They are doing everything that I wanted them to do with season two. We have actual reactions towards the whole Beth thing. We have Shelby back. We have Beth herself. We have the amazing-ness of Puck. Kurt and Blaine are very cute and Britney is so sweet. Also, Finchel aren't bugging me as much as they were and the music is stunning. Not to mention we have Damien coming in soon and I lurve Irish accents.

Everyone complains that there isn't enough musical numbers. Dudes, they needed to cut back. Seven to ten songs an epsiode may have felt like just enough for some but it was too much for me. The story needs to be told and the songs need to simply support that. Glee is a musical, yes but it is also a story about amazing characters going through things and I think the show lost sight of that. Not to mention I have said earlier that I would prefer to only hear current songs every once and awhile. It's a great surprise, you know? But I just love learning new songs that aren't from my main genre or era. That's what Glee opens me up to and the current songs started to get very annoying after awhile last season.

Quinn looked very good...or is that just me? But her storyline is good. It gets a lot of complaints but I think she is going to get a lot of character development this season because they didn't do that with her last season. They have managed to explain it away by using the whole baby grief thing and so hopefully soon they will get to the real stuff. Her storyline is compelling and she is just confused and lost. Teenagers, especially teenagers who have lost, get that way. And plus, doesn't Dianna play her so well? She makes her seem so...I don't even know.

And this may sound like a diss...but did Ryan Murphey REALLY write 3.02? LOL. It was just so damn good.
