How was your day? - Part 5

Amber Sunny Slippers, my dear dear friend.
I hate to break it to you but HoppyHippy is the tanks driver, she seems like a really nice person who wouldn't say boo to a goose in case in scared it. But behind the controls of a tank she is like Mad Max on steroids. You are governing the direction, that is the polite way of you calling folk a (person who made a person of child bearing age to be a mother). And me I'm sat on the pointy thing (it points to where the tank fires its shells) and then there is me singing at the top of my voice.
Out tank is silver in colour, as I love singing the tune 'Silver Machine' by the group Hawkwind.
And what makes me happy the banter with you and HoppyHippy. I just love the idea of wearing a wig like the one Cher uses.

@HoppyHippy appears to be missing. Wonder what she's up to? ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

My cars name is actually Max ;)
Trying not to imagine one of them KISS look-a-likes sat on the turret. Or can you imagine a bloke in that hair that'd make Cher jealous playing guitar in November Rain, dig the hat huh.
Poor HoppyHippy can't keep a straight face.

I'm watching the original RoboCop because it's so awesome...I LOVE ED209!! This is an old dvd and it keeps skipping, but that's life. Next, I'm going to watch Total Recall. Now I'm eating M & M cookies. ๐Ÿ˜†

nice, Total Recall. Oldie but Goodie
I'm testing to see if I can post a pic of my old car by using an image host. Here goes...and it worked! Thank you @Buffy Summers for giving me that idea!!! โคโคโค

That's beautiful. I'd love to ride in an American car, they are massive!
It was an automatic. I sold it years ago, but it was my favourite ever...basically because it was so huge, that most people stayed out of my way. Haha.

Good thing the petrol is so cheap in America you wouldn't be able to afford to run such a gas guzzler here.

I got a LOT of rest today. I think I only left the house to bring the empty bin in and feed the chooks (yay back on the lay! 2 eggs today). Spent the evening laying on the floor cuddling bunnies and watching teen wolf.

So, everytime I get this level of rest and relief, I tell myself I will never be so cruel to myself again through pain and just go to hospital. But everytime an attack like that hits, I convince myself that I've been through worse. That hospital is for dying people and I only wish I was dead.

I think i worried the pub crowd a bit, I had 3 beers the other night and I dont drink nowdays- and they know it. I've had a couple people check in, weirdly comforting. Also made me realise how isolated I got over winter. I immersed myself in the garden work to keep warm. It is much cooler here than the city. Gotta do something bout the toothache on top of it all, its just so far to go.

Spring has sprung, already saw a snake.... hope I can grow some good herbs for the buns, they love being spoilt with special soil.

Earlier in the day had a couple of classes on the opposite end of the campus. So walked back & forth few times. Then went for a run before work. Spent about half the day returning stock to the shelves and helping people. By the end of the day my fitbit was like 'just stop!' ๐Ÿ˜‰

Haha I have been a bit like that too @HowiMetdaSlayer.

I decided to get out bush for a walk, picked a nice 2km loop (discounting the 3km it took to walk there) and then left the track I'd planned....

I got up past the dam and the wildflowers were spectacular, though sparse. That was when i was hit with how tired I was. All this baby horse brain training stuff comes back to me in those moments. I wouldnt push a horse through that sort of weakness or risk "breaking " it (in the spirit sense and I could go on but maybe thats a journal entry) so why would I push myself on?!?!

I slowed right down, found a track out to the pub and ambled home another kilometre. Now Im sat sore thinking why didnt I sit at the dam!? I knew I was too fatigued yet I didnt rest.... I think I was scared of snakes haha.

The chooks have garden freedom today. I hope they eat those pesky snails but they seem more interested at crying at me while I sit on the patio (where there are no bugs, just cuddles.... Needy peckers)

That is expected, if you joined the House of Black Thorn our masters could arrange for you to be a vampire, getting there and back would be quick and easy. Should HoppyHippy be paying attention and her Chookies were Geese it would be okay as no-one at your work would attempt to say boo to a Goose.

I'm driving more, and it's so much easier in a huge vehicle. People tend to hesitate cutting in front of me now, because I make it very clear that I'm not going to slow down. You really have to drive aggressively here; which comes natural to me. I probably should renew my drivers license, huh? It's a good idea to have one when you're driving. ๐Ÿ˜‚

They let themselves out this morning.... managed to open the chicken wire gate themselves. I hope I don't have another Fox first evil murder all my girls again. I need Willow wire.

@Amber Bunny Slippers , my dad used to drive a really banged up old ute, it was a super fun car to drive and old enough that you could do a few tricks in it that newer cars couldn't (Like turning off the engine while driving down a hill and just coasting - now most cars have power steering that stops the ability to do that haha). Anyway, it was so big and banged up that NO ONE challenged you on the road. It was obvious we didn't care if that Ute got a ding, so other drivers were more cautious.

My current car is the WORST I have had for others cutting me off and being dangerous and aggressive on the roads. It just looks like another car, nothing that makes them go WHOA better be careful around that one. I have never been on the horn as much in any other car as I am with the current one. Although, I learnt living in very inner city that the horn shouldn't be used at blocked intersections cos the meth heads take that as a call for the cricket bat. Road rage is intense on the freeway, I have witnessed so many people getting pulled out of their cars and bashed in peak hour when it is at a crawl. I'm glad I got out of the city cos drivers on meth are scary.

How hard is it to renew a license?

I think I have to take a written and road test for the license. Haven't had one in a while, so not sure...
We get our phone, internet and television through Bell and the TV includes recording capability as well as fast forward and rewind so we never have to suffer through an ad unless we are watching live. A couple of weeks ago, the record function cut out but we got a reprieve when they changed some wiring over external to our house. Then it got bad again so we swapped out the set-top box. Today it started getting intermittent again, so I called Bell at 1:00 PM. I didn't get off the phone with them until 3:15 PM and the result is we have lost all record / fast forward / rewind capability. Our only alternative would be Rogers cable and they are worse.

Is it via ze Internet? How prevalent is fibre optic broadband on that side of The Atlantic?

My net provider asked me to rate them today.... is it a thing that the net drops when the wind blows? Cos that seems to happen ๐Ÿ˜› And sorta always have. I am not good at tech stuff but spend a whole lot of time using it lately. I only have tv cos I have the laptop.

Its gona be cold tonight, the buns are snuggling under the heater. Anyas hair is blowing in the heat stream. I feel like in that movie where they're all trying to keep the fire going as the ice age approaches. I have my fluffy pjs on, watching Breaking Dawn part 2 and appreciating it a whole lot more than I already did! The fight that not was. I think it was pretty clever to get all the fan fic fight pairings prettied up for the fandom.

I wonder if it will snow up the hill tonight? I have to get out of the house but I would prefer the beach.

Did you tell them that 'it blows'?

Apparently there was an earthquake today but I missed it cos I was driving over it.
