Um, everyone seems to take this a lot more serious than I do, like it's a real fight between wo sides.. I guess that it is.. But I'm just trying to figure out what "really" happened, I'm not just fighting for my side... (Don't know what's wrong with me, I'm usually all about fighting, lol.)

I gotta admit this has become a little personal for me Epo.

This started because i bothered to post a little FACTUAL information on the thread topic and as a result i've been called a liar, simply because i didn't think to make a record of every single Mutant Enemy writer interview i've ever read.

In the future do me a favour and remind me not to bother to add any info, no matter how true it is, that might cause this much anguish. Really isn't worth the hassle! 🙂

I am really really thankful for all facts and info there are, believe me. I wish I was in war mood just like the two of you... It's just that I've been discussing this so many times.. and, well, I used to be on your side, arguing for Faith as the slayer so.. Hmm, for such a big Buffy fan you missed a key plot hole here.

If two slayers caused a huge disruption, then wouldn't two hundred cause a major disruption.

It is pretty believable that the First wanted Buffy to activate the potentials, thus creating an unbalanced world. Possibly giving the First the ability to become corporeal soon!

The only evidence we have at all is that no new slayer was called after she died in The Gift. So if it's evidence you want that Faith was the active slayer before Chosen then that is all you get.

We didn't know about Kendra or Faith until they showed up.

Hell for all we know there could be a third slayer floating around.

Another theory that has been debated.

Now the preceding proves nothing, but it shows that there are HUGE flaws in your theories.

I'm still going with my theory that Buffy holds the line now because she was re-inserted into it after Bargaining.

It is highly possible that since Buffy's body and spirit were so used to being the Slayer or that even the event in "The Gift" reactivated her. Thus giving her the power to call another Slayer.

Then you have the flat lining in "Villains" which could be the disruption that caused it all.

We do not know this.

All we know is that we have key characters and the oldest evil of all time (Who is probably not an idiot as Picca believes it to be. Since ya know, it sensed the disruption and has informants and resources up the butt.) saying that Buffy would call another slayer.

And if you can not believe the script, then I guess you don't believe anything that has ever happened in the Buffyverse.

This is because the script is the only reliable source we have to go on and in the rules of debate, we would come out on top.

You have shown no source what so ever to back up your theory. With the exception of "I heard this but I forgot where I read it". Oh please.

If you could remove your head out of the clouds you would have seen that it was a statement made to show how the first was not an idiot, but rather just was the victim of Buffy's free will.

It's pretty funny how you don't realize that to prove a theory you have to deconstruct it piece by piece, hence why you believe that I'm going off topic. Oh and also, as far as that challenge that you don't think you have goes, I haven't seen anything from you someone here can't prove wrong or come up with a better theory for.

For the last time!!!! There was no new slayer called after The Gift, Joss said so, he knows, he writes this stuff, you don't!

I don't have a personal theory for any of this, all i'm doing here is putting the alternate side to your theories up for consideration. All i have is the knowledge of what i read, which is correct regardless of anything anyone else may say here.

To paraphrase Anya, i have this thing called memory, it's useful!

If you read my post correctly I never said that you "proved my script-theories wrong". I simply stated that you did not believe the script. Read it over again.

"Use my brain". Well I and other members can definately tell you that I use my brain fairly often. And I think that would also be reflected on my GPA, SAT score and the plethora of schools I've already been excepted to. Hell, I'm 17 and I'm already attending a prestigious school...

Oh my, the sheer stupidity is really starting to grate!

Who said you can't believe the script, you just have to use you intelligence and take into account that even the characters may not have all the answers that the writers do. The writers know all as they make it up, the characters only know what they have learned up until that point of the story. if nothing has happened to inform them within the story then they won't know, it's as simple as that.

The writers however, being real and all, get to have all the information, ain't they the lucky ones!

Congratulations on the prestigious school thing, although maybe you should start attending a few classes now. just turning up every day clearly isn't helping much!

As for the articles, look for yourself, they are there, particularly the fact that Joss said no new slayer was called after Buffy's second (or third) death. As for the Fury article, which i made very clear right from the start, it being in a magazine would make a link practically impossible, wouldn't you say?

I already know i'm right, Maria already know i'm right, i care about nobody else, therefore as far as i'm concerned debate won! Go us!
