Megan Fox to Play Buffy?

I kid you not people! I was just watching the news, and the entertainment reporter has said that Megan Fox is the front- runner for the new Buffy Movie.

I don't know about you guys but I find Megan Fox to be a conceited, self-absorbed, boring, bitca and although their was little chance before that I would have ever gone and seen what is starting to become Hollywood's own version of a total train wreck, if she gets casts not only will I not see it but I will probably be in pain just thinking about it!

Thoughts/ Opinions?

im sorry if swearing is frowned upon on this site...but this has to be said .....**** THAT! if they cast that hoe-bag as Buffy i will personally and vigoriously write a very angry letter to the studio and idiot casting directors on behalf of all REAL Buffy fans. Like does Megan Fox even know what Buffy is? Plus, Buffy is blonde...so.

Me either, Bay can be a bit much, but Transformers is great fun. I love that movie, and Im super excited the number 2. I highly recommend you check it out.

Megan Fox makes me do that little bit of vomit in the mouth thing that happens occasionally! "I'm to beautiful to play intelligent roles". No Miss Fox, you are so untalented that playing an intelligent role would cause your brain to explode. Hey! That would actually be enjoyable to watch. Maybe someone should cast her as an intelligent character. Kablooey makes me smile!

I think she ruined the Transformers movie for me. She's supposed to be the 'sex symbol' of the film??? I'd rather have sex with Optimus Prime!
Really glad she wont be playing Buffy, I think they should get in a less well known actress.

You know, I was in the checkout at the grocery store, and one of the trash mags had this headline on the cover about this supposed fight between Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie about Megan stealing roles from Angelina and being the younger version of her. Yeah. Right. Not that I'm a fan of AJ, but still. Really?

Megan Fox? Hmm. One thing, she looks too old. And has too many tattoos. And yes, kind of reminds me of a street hooker. Yes, she is pretty, hot blah blah...but she's not Buffy.

Megan Fox was never a fave of mine, and she really didn't make me any more of a fan by her recent dissing of Wonder Woman (I'm a retired comic geek, don't judge 😛).

Fox in the role of Buffy? I believe you young folks have a term for it in the current vernacular; epic fail.

Am I the only one who thinks Kristen Bell is the only viable actress to play this role? Yes, she's a little too old now, but still....

I think that most of us fans are going to have to come to terms about there will never be a better buffy than SMG, she portrayed the charechter so well that you cheered her and yet worried for her. I dont think there will ever be the right balance of strong and tougth yet vunerable

Oh god happy it isn't true.. I would so hate it if it was. The character of Buffy will be hard to find an actress for. Especially when EVERYONE remembers, and maybe even thinks the only real Buffy is Sarah Michelle Gellar. I know I do.

Even if a lot of people know that Sarah played Buffy I doubt that everyone will see her as the only one. They might know she played her but if they haven't watched the show I doubt they care much. Not even sure that the Twilight teens that they'll hope will go see this movie (vampires are in and all that) knows much about the show Buffy. There might be a bigger chance they see Sarah as Daphne from Scoobie Doo.

We that have watched the show over and over will for obvious reasons have an incdredible hard time seeing anyone else play the part of Buffy though.
