Megan Fox to Play Buffy?

^ Yeah that could very well be it. Sarah as Daphne though...I'll never get used to her being an ACTUAL Scoobie
 
I've gone over most of the actresses I'm familiar with, and none are right for the Buffy role. A lot of them would be good in peripheral roles, however.

Let's take this young lady, for example.....Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

I don't know about anyone else, but I see her as a good pick for the role of Faith.....

She looks too vulnerable to play Faith. I would imagine somebody tough as nails playing her. LOL
 
Too bad Faith won't even be a character. None of the TV characters will be in this "reboot". Except Buffy, of course.

And I won't even start on my dislike of the Megan Fox possiblity, haha.

Yes, the younger version of AJ...totally! I'm sure Fox will picking up her very own Oscar real soon...I mean her role in Transformers is truly moving...so much so that she had to make the exact same movie TWICE! I bet AJ is quaking in her boots.
 
I've been going through all the young blonde women in hollywood at the moment trying to think of who could play Buffy, and I've come to a pretty simple solution - find an unknown. A big open casting call, and see what happens.

I definitely don't think that Sarah is the ONLY person that could play Buffy, I'm sure there is someone out there. They just need to be discovered. The only thing that I definitely want is a blonde.
 
I don't see why the actress playing Buffy has to blonde, there is this thing called hair dye, I think what is the most important is their ability to actually act! Although SMG is quite possibly the only person I could ever picture as Buffy I would not be upset if I was proven wrong, Megan Fox just isn't the person to do that!
 
I am aware that there is such a thing as hair dye! But I can't see Megan Fox as a blonde! I don't care if they have dark hair normally, as long as they're going to look alright as a blonde.
 
Guys, Megan Fox is definitely not playing Buffy, so can we all please stop bashing her? I mean, I am definitely not a fan of her's, but seriously?

Anyway, I am honestly having a hard time picturing anyone else as Buffy. Kristen Bell could be a good choice, she has the wittiness of Sarah, and is a blonde.

I agree. KBell is my fav actress besides SMG. She could pull off the snarkiness well, as she did in VMars.
I don't really know much about Megan Fox, so I don't really want to see her as Buffy. The main reason being that I'm not sure if she's a good actress. I don't have the hatred thing going for her though that a lot of people do. Transformers wasn't exactly an 'actor' movie, it was shiny robots, and pervy Michael Bay pointing the camera at the girls stomach. She did perfectly fine with what she was given, which let's face it wasn't much.
If she can prove her self as an actress with range, then I wouldn't care if she was Buffy or not. But we won't know if she can do that for a while. I know I could look at some movie she did with that Lindsey Lohan tool a few year's back, but it would take a gun pointed at my head to watch anything with Lohan, and I'd still probably choose the bullet.
My guess for the Buffy movie casting. Now, I don't want it to be, but I'd be surprised if they didn't ask that girl from Heroes, Ally McBeal's daughter - Hayden Hard-to-spell-last name. You know who I'm talking about. 😀
 
This blonde thing is kind of interesting. But you really can't tell how someone will look as a blonde before you've actually seen it. Or maybe you females can. 😉 Or maybe it's just me that have a hard time with things like that. And since I can be wrong, can someone tell me what SMG's real haircolour is?

I'm a fan of Kristen Bell but if they're gonna have a young teenage Buffy it would feel a bit wrong. As for Hayden, it seems more like a convenient suggestion than anything else.

I don't really know who she is but after looking at pictures of her all i can say is that she is not what i expected a Buffy to look like, if she ends up playing Buffy i think i will deffinatly be dissapointed.

anyway I got bored and uploaded a pic of megan fox on photoshop and tried sticking her hair colour to blonde . . . . . it still looked more like a cordelia charechter than a buffy.

Personally I don't have a Problem with Megan Fox as an actress. She was wonderful in Transformers. But if she was to play a Slayer - I would think that she would possible make a good Faith. Definitely Not Buffy.

Personally - I think any actress that plays Buffy will be compared to SMG.
