Spike's Princess
Potential
I believe there has been a plot holes, and a lot of misdirection concerning Xander and Dawn. ME seem to be beating us over the head with the "poor" weak Dawn story, and normal guy Xander. usually when they do that, we she look in the other direction. Dawn believe she not the slayer, because the Harbinger went after "Amanda", but I believe she is a sit, and if you look closely there seem to be holes in Amanda's story. ::nono1::
-When Amanda happen upon Dawn (I do not think it was a coincident) she said she was "coming from the school".
-the orange ball, pinned Dawn against the door. it did not go around her, or thru her, nor out the window. If Amanda was there at door where did she go?It stop, at Dawn, and glowed on her.[/i]instead of continueing.
--Amanda was walking towards Buffy house, if she had been there, wouldn't she have been walking "Away" from the house.😕
-When she told Dawn about her attack at school, she said she was "Thinking" of going to get Buffy.
-she fell to mention being at Buffy's house before, nor did she mention the orange glowy ball hitting her. (if she can talk about Vampires, you think she would have mention that)
-Amanda wanted to lure the vampire over to the marching band. (wicked)
-she told Dawn she had "Locked" the door, yet when Dawn arrive she found the door unlock. (if it was lock, Dawn would have had to unlock it)If the Vamp wanted out, the door would not have kept him in, nor the windows. so why was he still there? or snacking on the marching band?
Dawn could be a sit:
-A slayer relys on the resources around them. Dawn , not Amanda was the one to use the fire extinguisher to beat the vamp with.
-slayer should rely on there instinct. Dawn, not Amanda was the one to think of running, and moving something heavy onto the door.
-although, sits are not in full strength, they still are strong. Dawn was the one to move the hugh file cabinet in front of the door.
-a slayer should use everything she got. Dawn was the one who was throwing everything at the vamp. when this was happening where was "Amanda?
Why didn't the vamp go after her, instead of Dawn?
all the time Amanda was with Dawn, she acted like she couldn't fight. she did not even try to help. ( what was she doing at the school at night, anyway?)
When the Harbinger came in, and went for Amanda, why didn't they try to kill her? When we had seen them killing sit before, they never took that much time. Amanda did not even put up a fight, there was hardly a struggle. (actually, I do not remember her screaming , nor fighting back) It was as if she was waiting for something.(did the harbinger know there were two people in the room?)It was Dawn, who set them on fire. Amanda didn't really start to fight until Dawn gave her the flag pole weapon, or was it after she had an audience.? (Xander and Buffy ). I believe we were misdirected ( another red herring) to believe that Dawn "isn't a sit, only to find out later on,that she actually is one.::dk::
Note: M.E has been beating us over the head with Xander is a normal guy, a whole lot lately.(big anvil) I believe that might be another misdirection. his speech at the end, of the episode to Dawn was very touching, and the best Xander moment, since the "Zeppo". :: red :: :: red :: :: red ::
