New Layout for Main Page

I love it, I think it looks great and it just perked the page right up (not that it needed perking but I still appreciate the change, it gives a 'fresh' feeling)

Thanks D, I think this was a great idea and feels more user friendly if anything 😀
 
Is there an option to fit this new layout more to your screen?

I always go online from my netbook (which has a much smaller screen than an average laptop or compuer) and a lot of the side stuff is cut off for me...
 
One thing I really like about is that it showcases the quotes a lot better than it did before. I never read the quotes before, but now I think it's a fun little extra thing when I'm on the mainpage. 🙂 Just read a really cute xander one: "Being popular isn't that great. Or so I've read in books". Awwww, Xander! 😀

Eh, couldn't you do that before? Or I'm missunderstanding you. It was shown at the bottom of the page.

It sure does. Maybe that's the same thing with birthdays and who's online as well.

Yes the only addition is the latest tweets really :)
I think I'd like this so much better if the random quote was smaller. It's the biggest boldest thing on the page and my eye is drawn to it first. And that's really irritating to be honest. Because that's the literally least important thing on the page.
 
I like it .. change is good 🙂
And I like that the random quote is featured so boldly - reading them kinda brings me into the Buffy-mindset

In your opinion perhaps, personally I enjoy the quotes a lot. I like having them there and very visible upon logging in because they make me smile and they don't come in the way of anything else. I can still see notifications and how many new posts have been made... I'm not sure what else would be important enough that one couldn't scroll down a little bit.
 
I was confused when I opened the page, but I guess I'll get used to it.

It's nice though, because it doesn't look like other forums 🙂
 
[MENTION=2761]Faith[/MENTION] is tapatalk a free app? I've heard mixed reviews about it. I've just switched to the iPhone skin for now though, so problem with tiny words on main page is solved 😀 yay!

It's only like 4 dollars. But it's a great app and it's worth it.

I really like tapatalk. A disadvantage is you can't see rep or karma comments.
It's cool! As others have said I like the previous one more just because I got used to it. I like how the Twitter part was incorporated. One thing I really preferred the look of before was the random show quotes and user stats... they looked cooler up top! 😀
