Where was the tirade?
I said I liked the new style a lot, which I do, it's very nice, and well done to those who made it. I appreciate it lots.
I said, as an off remark that some of us were talking about it.

You said it wasn't cool...I said that I took on your point, and that anyone is free to go into Rixnet...(or any of the other "fake" chats, I assume. There's about 4, I think), however there's a very valid reason that the link isn't posted everywhere, and then explained why I found our own temp chat difficult to use.

I'm glad it's there, and that it's free for those who want to use it, to do so, however I personally so far choose not to.

Everyone appreciates it. They all also have different tastes. You'll never create something that everyone will love. It's not personal.

I can't even tell if you're being serious right now...but if I (or anyone else) try/tries to defend someone else's point I'm "butting in" or if we disagree with something you say or do we're being "bitchy" or rude so I'll just shut up. Jeez lo-fricken-uise I am so tired of walking on fracking eggshells, sh-guff. We appreciate everything you do. BB is awesome. But you have to understand that a lot of work has gone into this, and having people not even willing to give it a chance, when I've taken the criticism and posted asking people to give it a couple weeks to see if their feelings change, and saying that we can always change back, and there is just more and more "I hate it!" posts...it doesn't make anyone feel good.

And frankly Harley is right - every single time we post about anything on the board, we're met with negativity. That's not constructive criticism. That's like me telling you in a thread where you didn't ask for feedback on the banner in your sig, "Your banner sucks, I hate it."

I just don't think people realize how much their negativity hurts people when they've worked hard on something. People can give their opinion, but jeeze, we get it.

You people need to back the hell up and realize how much work Darla does for us all. She takes time out of her personal life to invest in this board and put in things like karma, and skins, and a chat room, or upgrades to the software, etc. and when people are constantly bitching about every little change it does feel like a personal thing. I'm not the admin of this board, but I've run my own board before and know how it feels to have people constantly complaining about shit; it's not cool. So please before you say another word, try to put yourself in her shoes to realize why she gets pissed off when she works to do stuff for the board, then comes on and finds 3 pages littered with "I hate this!" type comments. WTF, people.

That happens on every board that has a big amount of active members.You'll always be met with negativity from someone when you've got a large enough group. We get that it's a tough job, and not all of us are negative about everything.

Of course everyone is allowed to an opinion. Doesn't mean we want to hear it. Also, obviously, I don't expect everyone to like it either. It just gets ridiculous to see complaints anytime even the smallest changes are made. Darla can't even post a new skin without comments like "what about such and such a skin?!" Give them a break.

The whole purpose of forums is a place where people can voice their opinions. If everyone kept their "unpopular" opinions to themselves the whole internet would just be people agreeing with one another...which is pretty boring. Negative comments are just as valid as positive ones (once done constructively)

I don't know what the karma comment is in reference to...and If I didn't give a crap about anyone's feelings...I wouldn't feel the need to walk on eggshells. I would be completely blunt and honest. Haha I am so confused, what did I say that was insensitive? I don't even have a problem with the new layout, I just don't get why it's an issue if someone doesn't like it and they voice that opinion. Do you not want us to ever say anything negative about anything on here?

I mean it upsets you, so just don't allow us to do it. It creates chaos. It also makes you think that we don't appreciate everything you do, which is completely untrue.

Yeah but look what it turned into? Becuase some people can't just simply say 'hmm I'm not a big fan of it' end of conversation. It's not being done constructively by everyone. Darla handled the constructive ones well. At first I read the thread and people were polite about their dislike of it and she replied saying just give it a chance it doesn't have to stay. I thought oh good the threads actually going well (most of the changes dont) and then it turned in to a disaster. Because even though it had already been said people had to keep on complaining and keep on saying they didnt like it. If ten people before you have said the exact same thing you really dont need to add on.

And sometimes if you don't like something you still dont always have to say it. I'm not even going to give my opinion on the layout change. Cause it doesn't really matter.

This is exactly the kind of post that creates problems on this board. There are much more civil ways to get your point across without being an ass about it.

I agree. We should all just hug...um...virtually 😉. Seriously. I don't dislike anyone here. I am dead serious. I appreciate everything that the admins/mods do and you guys are totally allowed to have an off day. I'm kind of having a crap one myself which is perhaps why I snapped. It's not a big deal and we can just drop it. The layout was fine. I just hate that I sometimes feel as if I can't voice my opinion because I'm afraid that someone is going to tell me I'm being rude or bitchy and that sucks. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, that wasn't my intention. Trust me. I try so hard to be respectful. I cut back on my sarcasm for you guys! 😉

@HisMrs I was hesitant to say anything because I was almost afraid to speak up...

Reading all the posts in this thread makes me think, it's better not to say anything and just read what's been said.

I also wanted to say it's hard to sometimes to know anyone's tone of voice and everything because it's the internet. It's hard to read someone as being arrogant or sarcastic or not being nice sometimes.
